Foster and Allan at their best
Playhouse, Whitley Bay @

Favourite moment: When Ollie Kennedy sang Grandad, we love this song because we have 2 little grandsons and the words fit the way a Grandad feels about his Grandson(s). @
Setlist: Perfect, they play all the old favourites. @

As usual, Foster and Allan were brilliant. They always are and they never disapoint. My wife and I just love them. The Theatre was full which shows how popular they are.

This was a really good night. Took my mother and father-in-law to see it for their Christmas present and they thoroughly enjoyed it. They knew most of the songs they sang.

We were moved to great seating with loads of leg room because an enormous large person was sitting in the seat next to us. Good mix of songs old and new and went down well with the appreciative audiance. Asked to "sing a long" or clap a long many times and this sometimes let the show down because we had come to hear Foster & Allen not fellow audiance members singing out of tune with bad voices as well.

This was, as usual a first class performance, combining the musical talents of these two fine artists, and their three backing musicians. Although the programme consisted of their earlier hits, these were the songs that the audience went to hear. Also combined with the music, Mick Foster showed a talent for comedy, in the dialogue between songs, and also in a couple of the numbers themselves.

This was a wondeful compilation of old and more recent foot-tapping favourites separated by good Irish banter from the hosts. The whole show flowed smoothly and their sound was so pleasing to the ear. Foster and Allen have less hair than the last time we saw them live in Ireland but their voices have lost none of their original quality. Their vast repertoire could only have been bettered had they included "Benbulben of Sligo"
