Erykah Badu - What a disappointing night, we were kept waiting for nearly 3hrs, We booed, and twitted Ms Badu but still no show, no apology when she finally arrived. She did not make up for her lateness by singing songs we could enjoy and sing-a-long to apart from a couple, the rest was quiet boring and new to me, and most of the crowd by the look of it. Clearly Erykah was feeling her own hype, a shame the rest of us wasn’t. Her voice live was even better than her CDs, so I’m glad I went even thought I was ill after being left standing for so long and had to leave before the end, but at least I know that I won’t be seeing her again. EVER

Beautiful voice and great performer. I love the fact that she doesnt just go on stage and sing the same songs in the same formula. Made me remember why i've loved her music for so many years.

Brilliant Performance once again by Badu herself.
The only but was, she could have atleast responded to the encore , even if it were a bow .
But still a great performance :)

My first time seeing Miss Badu & also first time at O2 Brixton and on the whole I was left a bit disappointed. First thing I noticed was the echo in the building. This really surprised me and lessened my enjoyment of the event.
My 4 stars is for Erykah Badu whom I love way too much and despite the bad acoustics, I still think she was great.
Also I felt her set was way too short.

I hate to use the word 'disappointed' but unfortunately I was.

Have been wanted to see this artist for a few years now so was my first opportunity to check out this highly individual and creative talent.

Whilst her voice and overall stage presence were very good I thought the set selection itself was the disappointment. There seemed to be a lot of filler what with the use of Whodini and NWA snippits and an overlong band introduction. The failure of an encore and omission of 'next lifetime' were unforgivable knowing that is one of her most recognisable cuts.

Would have liked to hear more of the last album and Mama's Gun (again where was Bag Lady???) but good that she included a few from her first and best album.

It was pure admiration watching this woman perform, from start to finish..
She does not disappoint.

Props to the DJ who got the mood going before the band got on. Hiphop lovers' dream..
The band played oh so well... Backup vocalists were great.

What more can I say about Erykah except I'd go back and again to see her, if you haven't had the chance , do so next time she's in town! Amazing performer..embodiment of all the goodness that HipHop, Jazz, Soul and RnB bring...

I saw her concert a few months back n loved her so much I had to come again!! She was even better than last time!!! Even the guys in the crowd loved her!!
Her soul her performance her band absolutely amazing!! Even if u don't know her songs current or old, as long as u enjoy good soulful music u have to c her!!!
She was also on stage for almost 2 hours so she had a good mix of old n new songs and some..
I will b buying tickets the next time she's here, and will definitely b spreading the word about miss Badu!

I love Erykah's music. Her music style is unique as is her voice.... the mixture of genres make her stand out. On a whole i would recommend for anyone and everyone to go to one of her concerts. I am surely going to see her again!!!!

Erykah Badu was not late on stage, well not as late as expected. Her set was captivating and almost seemed to go to quickly. Her humour and playfulness captured the audience. Many were disappointed that she started but did not complete Next Lifetime but her tribute to Koko Taylor introduced many to a legend. No encore? It certainly left us wanting more...a sign of a true diva. Hope to see you again soon Ms Badu xxx

This was a brillant show Erykah is a class act she puts most of the woman today to shame.All eight of us from leicester did not want it to end. Her voice is incrediable much better than beyonce whom i have seen . Erykah as a sweet soulfoul vioce no fancy dancing bubms and boobs hanging out just her and her small band who have you tranfixed as they take you along their musical feast. All i can say is wow. Brixton should let her on stage longer you could tell she wanted to give more Erykah we salute you one lovex
