the whole night was awsome. unfortunately missd the urgency because i was still queing, but had seen them before, and theyr quite a good band, then hollywood undead were on; putting on a pretty good show and there was alot of their fans their singing along to every word of th fast rappin. bt, nt quite my thing. id gone to see silverstein and obv th blackout. both bands were as brilliant as th past times iv seen them. just a shame silversteins set wasn't longer..sean smith got th whole crowd involved during the blackout. shouting out to the audience, and mixing up songs from all albums old and new, including a special collabiration with callie from farewell city.the venues pretty tight, so the atmosphere was good, with some nice sweaty pits (: got a fair few bruises which = a good night :P

These guys are undeniablly my favourite sextet from the welsh valleys. They provide not just a gig but a performance you won't forget in a hurry. Prepare yourself for relentless hour of hard-core entertainment that will have you sweating and laughing incidentally. I won't deny that fact that screamo vocalist Sean Smith often equates to the vegemite that you may spread on toast. But ultimatley their music is as filling and humble as any home-cooked pie and the crunch is equally adorable to my ears.

They were amaazing. Their support was really good as well, because Silverstein, Hollywood Undead and the Urgency supported them. The atmosphere was amazing, they played their old album, and their new album. I met some of the band members before and after the show as well, which was a really good bonus. The venue was really good as well. I was right at the barrier, so I was really close to the bands and it was just so good.

It says something about a band when, my friend who was roped in at last minute, dragged to the gig having never even heard of The Blackout, doesn’t even like “that type” of music and actually didn’t really want to be at the gig in the first place, leaves with a massive smile on her face and says to me “before work tomorrow I’m going to HMV to buy the album.” After seeing these guys grow over the last few years I am proud to call myself a fan and truly believe that they belong on the stage. They master the crowd with awesome songs like “I’m a Riot” and the energy they create is amazing. I can not wait until the next Blackout gig, I think these guys live are awesome, and as much as I want them to do well a tiny part of me hopes that they don’t so that I can continue to see them at such small venues as this so you really feel like its you and the band (plus a few non-showered and really hairy sweaty guys)!!

The Blackout were absolutly amazing. One of the best gigs I've been to in a long time. They had the whole place jumping from back to front. We were singing every word of every song. Sean was amazing and he made me smile the whole time.
I would defenatly go again and will be buying tickets as soon as they play London again.
Best gig on a long while :)
