Seeing Skunk Anansie for the first time after all these year of being a devout fan was absolutely incredible!! They have been my favorite band since I was a teenager and I was VERY excited about the gig. I have to say that it exceeded my expectations...it was by far the best gig I have ever been to, not just because I love them so much, but because they are such brilliant musicians - a flawless, energetic and thrilling performance!!!

Over 10 years since the band last played Wolverhampton Civic Hall, there were no signs of rust considering they've been out of the game, as a band at least, for so long. A nostalgia trip in places, the place erupted as the band opened with a double-whammy of 'Selling Jesus' and 'Charlie Big Potato', Skin relentlessly bouncing about the place, and sang along to old classics such as 'Brazen (Weep)' and a colossal 'Weak' - which included an impromptu lap around the balcony from Skin. Recent single 'Because of You' coupled with the each member's obvious enthusiasm to be back on stage together suggests the band still have plenty of places they can go. Closing with a crushing 'Little Baby Swastika', the band then rewarded themselves with a second encore of 'Secretly', the crowd almost entirely in a hushed silence as Skin reached the awesome high notes. It's always a danger for a band making a comeback but from the reaction they received from a packed Civic Hall, the band are as relevant now as ever. A big welcome back.

I never had the chance to see Skunk Anansie in their heyday, but then again I think I just did!
They were fantastic, Their songs sound as powerful and intense as ever, and they band really looked like they were enjoying themselves immensly. Skin is a force to be reckoned with, her voice is amazing, and she is a great frontwoman!
Overall, if given the chance, I wouldnt think twice about seeing them again, they were brill!

Seen them before, Seen Skin as a solo artist too.
I was hoping that they wouldnt just be back for money.
I was hoping that they would perform like they still liked each other and wanted to be there. They didnt disappoint.
It was a stunning performance from all of them.
Please come back soon before I have a zimmer!

Skin sounds like she does on the albums, the sets were note perfect. They have a great chemestry together and a presence on the stage which is electrifiying. They are a great stage act to watch. It was my boyfriend's first gig and he loved it and it was a perfect first gig. Thank you

The gig was unforgettable - as always Skin was extremly energetic and completely bonkers (in a positive sense), crowd diving and jumping up the speakers. It was quite emotional and unbelievable to see them together again. The best concert I've seen in ages, really great venue too (Glasgow Academy) - excellent and speedy service at the bar ;). Heartly recommended!

I saw SA over ten years ago and thought they were even more impressive this time round, Skin was as ever exceptional!! The band haven't changed a bit, would go and see them again and again, wonderful xx

the band were fantastic, seriously back on form! skin climbed the balcony , surfed peoples hands and swam to the sound desk!! they were so energised , I saw them at glasto ten years ago and they seemed yonger!! The lighting and stage design was fantastic what a band my oly regret is that i cant see it all over again ....they are well and truly britans best live band long may they reign.

Just so fantastic to see Skin and the boys back again.It wouldnt have mattered what they did, but what they did, was just brilliant. Skins voice is still as versatile , from rock to angel. Thank god I was there to see them again. Why did they go anyway?

What a night! Skin was on great form - even pulling people on stage and stage diving onto them. The guys played perfectly. The only downside was sitting upstairs.

one of the most exciting, energy filled gigs I've been to in a long time. Skin was absolutely fantastic, interacting loads with the crowd. Shame i was up on the balcony or she might have crowd surfed over my head too!!

I went to this event with indifference as i have not listened to live for so long. How wrong was i, Skin entered the stage in an interesting silver foil ensemble and it just got more eye popping as time went on. The crowd never stopped moving or singing as we watched mesmorised by Skin's energy which never waned.
