Saw him at Bristol but Cardiff was better. Atmosphere was amazing. Enjoyed show more as looking forward to my fave bits most of which were in the 2nd half. Loved starlight express and also the duet next time you fall in love sung by Louise and Ben. Ben was great watch out Michael another audience pleaser is our Ben.
Great harmonies, boogie woogie bugle boy very entertaining and This is the moment and Love changes everything brilliant as usual.
Very emotional vibe although he's sung The Rose many times this time I was very emotional the words his voice brought tears to my eyes, very moving.
My mum of 79 also throughly enjoyed herself can't wait to see him back but will see him as Edna again in 2010.

This years MB concert was a dissappointment, 1st half very dark and gloomy!
Very dramatic and heavy songs Jesus Christ Superstar, no background displays
Stage set up poor, no dramatic entrances or exits with MB and back up singers walking up and down stairs, sitting at edge if dusty steps.
Only time bright lights shone (strings of fairy lights) was when MB sang starlight express
During romantic love songs there was no romantic lighting or mist!
Finally stage was being dismantled before we had managed to leave our row of seats!!
Stage workers shouting at each other in a rush to leave---tight ship maybe, but many years we have attended MB concert this was one that was very disappointing.

Husband bought tickets for the Meet & Greet at the Apollo on 3/10 as a birthday treat for me. Was great to meet Michael - was only approx 20 people there for the Meet & Greet. Only downside to the evening was that due to bringing event forward by half an hour we all had to leave the venue at 5:50pm until 6:30 due to "Health & Safety" reasons. In my view they should have opened the bar for us for those 40 minutes or even had a complimentary drink & nibbles available for us to make us feel like "VIP's".
Excellent 2nd row seats, right in the middle - enabling us excellent view of a wonderful concert. Fabulous support from the "kids" as Michael referred to them!! 5 fantastic singers in their own rights each belting out songs & providing excellent backing to the other tracks (One of the "Kids" was Ben a finalist from BBC's Joseph show) Loved it, loved it, LOVED IT xxx

Went to see Micheal Ball tour with a friend for her birthday and what can i say but wow! A magical evening. Having other west end performers on the tour was speacial and they were all fantasticly talented who have a great career ahead of them.
The evening went way too quickly i could still be there now and not be bored.
To round it up the concert was superb!!!!

Michael Ball is a consumate professional. He presented a varied program of modern pop songs and musical theatre gems. His rendition of Empty Chairs and Empty Tables from Les Mis is unforgettable. Michael was supported by 5 young stars who allowed him to show his versatility and provided opportunity to do 'close harmony' work.

Before the show started we were told, over the tannoy, not to take photos. We quickly realised that the voice was Michael's as he quipped " don't because it gets on my nerves", which brought the first laughter.
From the moment Michael stepped on to the stage in his immaculate grey suit and white shirt with white tie,we knew we were in for a very polished performance.
His supporting acts were extremely accomplished and their talent shone through both on the occasions when they sang solos and when they accompanied Michael. The addition of these youngsters made this a much more rounded show to the ones we have seen in the past.
Michael himself was fantastic and he sang his heart out. His rendition of Gethsemane, (after the stage had been set by the other singers singing extracts from 'Jesus Christ Super Star') was, as usual, very emotional and he lived it to the full. It completely drained him emotionally, as did the song 'Empty Chairs and Empty Tables'
The mixture of songs in this show were very different and although they included many of the old favourites there were some refreshingly new songs.
There were many times during the evening when the audience just couldn't contain themselves and they rose to their feet jigging on the spot and cheering.
Michael's sense of humour was great. Even when the sound system suddenly made a loud noise, Michael hastily pulled his ear piece out and made a witty comment.
He said at one point that he was going to sing 'Aspects of Love' -
"Many of you will feel that you want to join in with this one", he said. Then, with a twinkle in his eye, he said "Well don't!"
This was a very energetic performance and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Having seen Michael many times before, we did think that maybe at times his voice seemed a little strained. This was the final performance of the tour and if he has performed with such gusto at all the other venues then he has deserved a well earned rest before he starts his 'Hairspray' tour.
In standing ovation, the audience cheered stamped their feet and shouted for more, after the last song. He came back and sang the first song he had ever sung in audition.
I would recommend any Michael Ball show to everyone who will listen. He is a very professional entertainer. His shows are quality from start to finish!

Michael was his usual brilliant and entertaining self, he was on top form, and apart from a rogue frog in his throat, he sounded excellent! My only dissapointment for this concert was his backing singers, which weren't so much backing singers, more like part of the whole show.
There were five young singers who spent a large portion of the show at the front of the stage, either singing with Michael, or doing their own thing. They are all very good singers in their own right, and the show they did would have been very good, if it hadn't been taking over a large part of Michaels' show.
It would have been much, much better if they had stayed where all good backing singers stay usually, and, if Michael had really wanted to showcase these young people, just let them do their bit as the support artist, half way through the show.
All in all, a good show, and I cannot fault our wonderfull Mr Ball, just not as good as I have become used to for previous concert tours.

Obviously ,this was a show where Michael was preparing his fans for the next move in his career.
He featured the younger guests and allowed them to `shine` so preparing the fans for his imminent move to producing and writing.
Sadly, his voice was not so strong at times and the repetition of his favourits were relied upon to carry him through.
His sexy charisma still was evident though.
