for it being there hometown show it was always going to be good but how good? well the boys pulled out all the stops playing comfortably for two hours and working the crowd well, only negative the bassist thought he was gods gift giving all these pouts which im sure came of in the end for some lucky fan but as a heterosexual man wasnt doing it for me!

Ash were brillant, played some old and new songs which was a good mix. Venue was great in respect that it was so small. Only issue was it overheated quickly

Brilliant night. They came on and lifted the audiebce right from the start. Played some new as well as old favourites to which the audience throughly approved. They trhe first two from the A to Z releases, brill. Can't wait fo rthe next 24 tracks. The audience did not want the set to end. All in all a really great gig. Last time I saw Ash they supported The Darkness, this was a far better show. well done guys and hopefully see you up this way again.

Saw Ash last night at Behind The Wall in Falkirk. This was a fantastic gig in a great venue. Ash rocked a small intimate venue, and shook the foundations!

Couldn't have been better in any way. Ash have always been an incredible live act, and they are better now more than ever. A great mix of new tracks and greatest hits, the audience couldn't have been more appreciative.

This event was really good. Behind the wall was a great venue for such a great band. With not much standing room everybody had a great view and a great sound. It was a little loud though. My ears were ringing last night, but the friend i took with me is still a little deaf and keeps saying 'what' which is really starting to get on my nerves. Because the venue was so small there was a couple of eejits in the crowd that was spoiling it for everyone. With them being six foot tall and as big round they acted like a couple of louts jumping over everyone, but with that to one side the band were awesome and well worth going to see again.

hi there people,
just thought i would put down a few words about the gig at the loft on saturday night, started with the panama kings------brilliant is all i could say about them, apart from the moustache............bought the 4 track cd after and wasnt disapointed,
now for ash,its superb that they are playing the wee venues throughout britain, good crowd at the loft and see they have sold out some other venues so when is it they get the plaudits for what they do and when are they going to hit the big time--they deserve it------the gig was superb and new songs sounded groovy-especially the drumming on one of the new tracks,,really good night had by all-----cheers boys

Having seen Ash twice before, I knew what to expect, lively, bouncy tunes with the odd slower tempo thrown in for good effect. Promoting their A-Z singles releases they mixed old with new and the obligatory banter was received well by a crowd up for a party.
New songs show a lot of potential but it was the classic oldies that really got the crowd going.
A bonus of this gig was that the support act were also very good. The Panama Kings worked hard to get the crowd going as far as I as concerned they worked for me.

E- is for East Grange, on Ashes A-Z tour of the UK 2009.
A wet night in the middle of nowhere....but the people came and they fill the barn. Yes an old cow byre at East Grange Loft, Kinloss (near Forres) is the venue and Ash kick out the old hits and the future ones to a mixed audience. I bet the band must have been thinking where the hell are we...will anyone come?? But I think we can safely say they conquered the normally reluctant local moray audience. This venue is proving to be a fantastic alternative to the town pubs and clubs favoured in Inverness and Elgin.
As a 3-piece they packed a mighty punch...even though the sound wasnt up to scratch to start with. Ash plodded on and eventually the sound guys got it right. The crowd bounced and the band kept it blistering to the end. Some nice new sounds complimenting their old pop-punk sensibilities (notably True Love 1980, White Rabbit, Space Shot).
Ending on Burn Baby Burn....lights out!!
I had a great time...recommended. Thanks for coming to the country boys.

From the stunning setting of the Bloomsbury Ballroom, Ash literally blew the crowd away. The audience were quite laid back until Ash came on. The music was fantastic, a mixture of classics with new songs that were just as enjoyable and the crowd absolutely loved it.

The gig was excellent but the venue is like a school assembly hall. Ash were as excellent as ever even with their new music that will take some getting used.
The support band were to loud for the venue and like a lot of people we went back to the bar to wait for Ash to come on stage as we did not want tinnitus.
