The Magnetic Fields are an awesome band who built up a nice little rapport with the audience and it was very enjoyable to feel part of the concert not just to watch. Between songs there were little bits of banter which made people laugh, the people I was with were surprised how funny the band are - but if you've ever heard their songs you would know what to expect! They played bits from their whole discography but mainly played songs from their newly released album as you'd expect! I've tried to remember the setlist but it's not in order and I've definitely missed some from Holiday and Obscurities. Tender Trap were good, their speaking parts were a bit awkward at times but they played well. As a seated event and an announced doors call at 7pm I would have expected it to start earlier as anyone who arrived on time was sat for ages without anything happening but this was a minor problem considering the quality of the show.
