Pharaoh Sanders is still an excellent technician but the soul has gone out of his playing. It was plainly obvious that he was bored and could not finish soon enough. He played only 5 or 6 tunes and seemed happy to step back and let the band fill time. He could not even be bothered to give an encore... no wonder as he could hardly managed those steep stairs. Pitiful! It is high time someone told him to rest on his well earned laurels rather than disappoint his fans.
