Featured Review

Paul Weller was excellent at the High Lodge, in Thetford Forest.

Play his own songs along with song from the Jam went down very well with the crowd at this small and intimate concert.

Everything from the parking to the food and or course the music was spot on.

An excellent night!

My ideal birthday watching Paul weller on my birthday in a fabulas setting with my partner!!!!!!!!! He was great, encore of Thats Entertainment and Town called Malice!!!!

We arrived armed with a picnic, lots of wine, and the sun shone!! When Paul came on, we just danced and danced, so did everyone around us, we made lots of new friends, and had very sore feet!! We will see Paul Weller again in November and definately go back to Delamere next year!!

The whole night was absoutely fantastic,with Weller putting on a truly superb performance.But be warned,friends of are's had fake tickets that were bought thru seatwave.ONLY USE TICKETMASTER!!!!

despite some mixed weather and those irritating little nats we all accept for the summer outdoor season this night was unforgettable. As ever, Mr Weller proved himself to be stood firmly among the greats - here is an act which has moved on with the times and as evolved to offer interest to three generations of music lovers, all of whom seemed to be jumping on my feet at the front!

There's not really much else to say - the man is a Legend. Being an outdoor concert, it was a nice, relaxed event but the atmosphere was very different from seeing him in an indoor venue. Something of the usual atmosphere was lost but we still had a brilliant evening.

Cannock Chase played host to the legend that is Paul Weller .
Songs from his solo albums , classics from the Style Council repertoire and Jam classics contributed to an amazing set in the middle of Cannock Chase .
Backed up by the superb Steve Craddock on guitar , the night ended with a wonderful version of Thats Entertainment , Paul weller certainly was !

it rained and was misty at the forest but it didnt dampen the spirits of the exited crowd.when weller and co hit the stage and broke into song the weather didnt matter anymore for the time they were chanting classics old and new. a pleasure once again!!!!

Totally amazing as usual we took my 2 boys age 8 and 9 their first time my eldest son was blown away he is learning loadsa weller on guitar! It was very child friendly they wer able to see everything had loadsa room my 7 year old was dancing his socks off especially to the last song "Town called Malice" Cant wait to go and see him again! The best

This was without doubt the best performance by Paul Weler and the band by a mile.
It was apparent immediately that they were all 'up for it' and the show got better and better all night, the rain held off for most of the night but to be honest nothing would have dampened the fervour of the sell out crowd.
It was a great show in a fantastic location.
By the way, Twisted Wheel as the support band were excellent and could have easily stayed on stage longer than they were booked for.

This was the first time that I've seen Paul Weller live and on a wet night in a forest he couldn't have done any more to make the evening one that thousands won't forget. mixing new material with his extensive back catalogue he had everyone singing along and having a great time. His voice was immaculate and he and his musicians were totally on the button the whole show. thanks Paul, I'll definitely come and see you again.

An excellent summers evening in Thetford Forest where Paul Weller pulled out all the stops to ensure that it was amemorial evening.
Still an excellent performer who knows how to engage with the audience.
A recommended evening for all, who will be surprised at the scope of music he has been resposible for over the years.

What a perfect setting for an outdoor summer concert. The natural bowl in the forest is an ideal ampitheatre setting. Paul Weller lived up to all our expectations, doing a mix of old and not so old tunes. Will be looking to see who is on at the forest next year.

1st time I've been to a concert in a forest,but with a smaller than usual gathering we were treated to a night to remember,the weather was awful while the support act were on,but when weller came on stage the rain stopped and a great night was had by all...
A great mix of old and new stuff and this is the 3rd time I've seen weller since november and the 22 dreams stuff gets better and better the climax to the evening was a truly great rendition of Town called Malice....I'd recommend a concert in the forest to everyone.

superb venue not too overcrowded, lashings of rain all day felt like it was going to be a wet one, but no chance, dried up after 7pm. Support band was excellent. Paul delivered superbly as usual playing a lot of our favourites. Only slight concern (if you can call that) was the backing sound which was a bit ropey in parts.

On the whole, wouldn't have missed the man for the world
