Gary sat in front of around 80 people in a small intimate venue within londons excellent "02" arena. Very informal & the small audience were blessed with some reading from Gary's recent autobiography, I know this much from soho to spandau! Also we were "privy" to some humorous insights into gary's interesting career, and growing up through the 60s to school years and ultimately being included in the 80s as one of the biggest bands of that era.We also sat in awe of gary singing alone several of the bands hits with his guitar,all the tunes that he had penned himself. Open "mike" session for 25 minutes or so, very funny & entertaining.Around two and a half hours in all, gary donated his time for free!
Finished off with photos a small chat, and even Steve Dagger turned up, garys manager for ever. What a totally and utterly excellent evenings entertainment. WOW.........

I had no idea of what to expect "a conversation with Gary Kemp', the evening was sooo good, he talked about how the band got together, he read extract from his book which were very amusing and he sang, the songs sounded really good. We had such a great evening!

Gary Kemp was so natural and down to earth and showed no signs, of nervousness when the camera's were going off. Gary's responses were informative and gave a good insight of Spandau in the early years, his voice was great during the acoustic set and I really enjoyed listening to his musical influences and what inspires him during his songwriting. Gary's Management Steve was also very friendly and supported him well throughout the event.

Gary looked hot of course and has a winning smile, he was very attentive to all his fans and took the time afterwards to take pictures and sign his well written book. I could have listened to him all night and felt as if I was in my living room with this musical legend. I look forward to the great work that is to come from, Gary and the Spandau lads and would love to attend another evening in Conversation with Gary a must see experience for all die hard fans.
