If you missed this , you missed out!!!!

Immortal killed it with His set then the legend KRS One showed HOW IT'S DONE! He also threw about 200 singed tennis & plastic balls in the croud! Lol drunk people can't catch !

Glad I didn't miss this one !!!!

Also! I Met KRS One upstairs watching Immortal's set ! And me and my mates got things singed !

Viva la Revolution !!!!!'

I went to see KRS for nostalgic reasons, and wasn't disappointed. He had me jumping around like i was back in my teens, with his amazing word play and uncompromising beats.

I must say though that to my pleasant surprise, the performance by IMMORTAL TECHNIQUE was immense, i had not had much knowledge of him or many of his tracks but was very pleasantly surprised by what i heard.

there was also a great slot of DJ wizardry when the decks were spun like a magician holding court.

Amazing performances from both headliners KRS-One and Immortal Technique, they killed it, both went overtime and had great sets. Technique had some intresting and funny rants with the audience in between tracks and KRS-One gave out some signed tennis balls and invited some of the audience on stage with him. Along with this KRS showed off his skills with some freestyles and premiering a new track. Furthermore before the show when the fans were queuing up to enter the venue KRS came out and met the fans, took some pictures and thanked the people for coming out to see him. Technique also stayed behind after the show to meet everyone and sign any items you wished. The only down side to the night was some poor support acts for the first few hours.

I've never written a review before but this gig truly deserves one. KRS - One is...THE...greatest hip hop artist I've ever seen live. At the age of 41 you might think he's past it but you could not be more wrong! His stage presence is unrivalled, energy levels electric, delivery...flawless and above all else he genuinely appreciates his fans. I had the pleasure of getting my ticket signed and taking a video of him and I getting rowdy together in the crowd. This wasn't the best gig I've been to, it was the best frickin night of my life!

I don't ever do these reviews but made an exception this time as this man deserves to be bigged up!!
I've been a hip-hop follower for 25 years and have seen everyone live from Public Enemy, to NWA, 3rd Bass, Gangstar, Talib Kweli, Jeru, De la soul, Wu Tang, Jedi Mind Tricks, Pete Rock etc etc the list goes on.
The reason I name drop so much is that, despite seeing all these rappers and mc's, nobody, and I mean NOBODY, rules that stage like KRS!
He is such a big presence and connects with his audience on a level that other MC's can only dream of. Lyrically his freestyle skills and the sheer power and clarity of his voice is unsurpassed.
Also, despite all his years in the game, you can see his enthusiasm and love for hip hop has not diminished one bit. It's clear it's not about the money, but the love and this comes across in his shows.
He uses his obvious high level of intelligence and education to rhyme and freestyle about philosophy and metaphysics in a way that is unique and way beyond what other mc's could even begin to comprehend.
Many rappers and MC's have come and gone since KRS and BDP first appeared, but how many have stood the test of time, still sound current and can rock a stage like this man can... Answer none I reckon and that's why he's still number one, one, one ,one, one!!!
If you love hip hop... Don't miss the next KRS show.

Although I have been a fan from when I was young I would have to admit that I didn't own much of his back catalogue prior to this gig but I honestly believe that you could go see him without hearing a single tune of his before and still have a great time.

The songs I knew were sometimes performed with new loops behind them and they sounded as fresh as they did back then as well as loads of freestyle to great samples that made you wonder why is there no current album from this legend?

KRS-1 is a true gentleman who took the time to get into the audience and pose for pictures, sign autographs and talk about the current state of Hip-Hop in a non preachy way whilst ensuring the tunes kept on coming.

A fantastic gig and one I would love to see again.

KRS 1 is simply the best rapper alive, Ive never seen an mc give it up like this, and vibe up the crowd with pure raw hip hop in its unadulterated form. He came out free-styling, then went straight to classics, then proceeded to drop all his hits, between freestyles and a lot of crowd interaction, my words aren't enough, if you love hip hop, rap, just plain good music you have to go see the Teacha!

Perfect sized venue for the BlastMaster KRS! The acoustics were very good. Perfectly intimate setting! Drink are a little pricey but overall I had a great time.

Best hip hop gig ever, KRS-One just rocks. Truly passionate, he has an amazing voice and energy. Loved both his classics and the freestyle pieces and that he really cared about connecting with the crowd. Hope he comes back soon to London, ideallyina bigger or less overcrowded venue

Firstly I have been a fan of KRS One since the early 80's but this was the first time I have seen him live. I was blown away by his energy and love, REAL love for his fans. He took time to sign autographs, be taken in pictures all while rapping freestyle. He jumped into the crowd at one point and shook hands with a disabled fan - I was touched. He has so much love for hip hop and his London fans. An amazing night ...only Michael Jackson's concert at Wembley in July 1988 tops this one ...

KRS was off the chain. He MC'd with passion, energy and feeling. Like he really cared.
Totally flawless lyrically, and some awesome freestyles. He even got down into the crowd for his final track and was rapping amongst everyone gathered there. Pretty special.

I seen KRS One with his brother dj Kenny Parker and Rapper Supernatural perform a couple of days ago. It's the 2nd time I've seen KRS perform live, and I do not think I would ever get sick of seeing him perform. Because he has got so many hits, and knows exactly how to rock a crowd whether in New York, London or even Paris. He talks and raps sense which I love, and represents the Hip Hop culture as a whole.
So, if you like genuine conscious uplifting rap and maybe like me live the hip hop culture I strongly recommend a KRS One show. Because he does not disappoint!!

I was expecting a good show, I had every reason not to turn up, I had a really bad day but something told me I didn't want to miss this, I was right. Best live show I've ever seen, incredible presence and energy, completely lifted me and all done with positive messages and beats. If your a fan of Hip Hop you need to see this guy live. I have to say, this was the first show in a long, long while to totally blow me a way.

Jazz Cafe: An awesome, intimate venue to see such a potent act.

MC Supernatural: A freestyle monster. A legend in his own right. I have never heard of this cat before, and am definitely a fan. He was awesome and arguably earned the biggest roar from the audience with his Rap About Anything.

KRS-One: The man. Seriously. Delivered a scattering of classics that acted as a foundation to monster freestyle jams. It really was totally amazing. He sucked you in, preached the gospel of hip-hop, and brought us all in. A real fan based show to...fat jams for the people with the camera, and then jumped into the crowd for pictures at the end.

This hip-hop show had real rock and roll attitude. AWESOME.

I hope all those people filing the event post to YouTube, because this is one show I want to see again!

He dropped the same set as the HMV Forum gig a few weeks ago but the sheer force of delivery, style, control and flow in the intimate surroundings of the JC made for a mind blowing experience. And 'same set' really doesn't do it justice as both Krs and Supernatural (who kept the crown more than entertained all night) had wit and controlled aggression as they fired up the already lively crowd with freestyles which were so slick my face melted. In fact Supernat deserves 5*s of his own - he delivers so much and defines 'dope mc'.
