I seen Manson in 2010 at Download, i was incredibly heart broken as he was terrible, so being skeptical about seeing him on the Twins of Evil tour i still went anyway.
I can honestly say i fell in love with him again.
Since then i have had a new MM tattoo and don't regret it one bit.
He was amazing beyond words.
He couldn't have had a better come back in my eyes.
Everything was thought out brilliantly, he even had SNOW during Coma White!!
Id do anything to relive that night again.

Being at download in 2009, i can say i wasnt expecting much, but manson was on top form ! he put on an absolutely brilliant show. Even though there wasn't much in the way of big effects the stage presence of Mr Warner was awesome !

i traveled all the way down from oban, scotland to watch this show, and goddamn it was worth it !, manson was on top ! the crowd was a sea of the most die hard manson fans ! including myself which made it even more awesome ! i cant wait to see him later this year with rob zombie ! its gonna be mental !

I was worried about this gig, I've been a huge Manson fan from the early days but his last few albums have been different to his early stuff which I Ioved him for. Anyway perhaps with Twiggy to thanks, this concert was back to his glory days playing all of the old classics reminding me of why I loved him so much in the first place

I had missed Marilyn Manson on the last tour and so trecked from Newcastle to brixton for his only UK gig.After 'eat me drink me' and 'High end of low' I was wondering which marilyn Manson would turn up.The set was pretty minimal but that meant there was no distraction from the music. The power and the aggression were all there from songs such as 'irresponsible hate anthem' and 'tourniquet' as well as stuff from 'Born Villain'.
Any apprehensions I had were dispelled quickly and it soon developed into an excellent gig.
However they were on for just short of 90 minutes and much time was wasted during songs due to the reliance on backing tape. MW Gacey is a big miss.
I would definitely go again but I wish he'd do a more extensive tour rather than festivals or one offs like this. Despite claims he was on the way out there's a lot more to come still.

Interesting dichotomy of 1 and 5 stars, but I'll give the experience 2 because it wasn't entirely awful, simply incredibly disappointing.

I was expecting theatrics, stage presence, and drama. What occurred was poor quality sound, bad vocals, and, well I just can't marry up the comments that talk about flashing lights and a great set. I microphone shaped like a dagger, and a plinth was the set, and there were 4 "drama" moments.
1) After every song MM dropped, or tossed the microphone into the air. Hilarious
2) Before every song MM took the microphone from the stand and throw the stand down. Hilarious (I mean EVERY song)
3) At the start of what I assume was the encore, standing on the plinth, MM decided to clear his nose onto the stage below. Delightful
4) At the end MM tossed the mircophone stand at the drummer / drum kit. How rock and roll.

That all occurred in 1 hr 20 mins.

That's what you get for £30 + booking fee.

Don't think I'll bother going again. Best watch some of his earlier gigs on youtube..for free

Having seen him play before, the last tour in '09 was a bit of a let down where Mazza sounded a bit flat and tired. Not so this time and nice to see him performing with a bit more spark and passion to his performance and giving the audience a bit more of the theatrics we hoped to see.

Being a one off show after the cancellation of Sonisphere, hopefully we'll see a full UK tour in the near future and maybe not when its so hot and stuffy.

This was the first time I've seen Manson despite being a fan for quite a number of years. I have always watched his older live performances on DVD etc and loved every minute. I was not expecting him to be brilliant as he was back then (as many have believed him to not be lately) but wanted to go anyway as I'm a huge fan. I was very pleasantly surprised. His voice held up very well with lots of his trademark screaming and a good mix of his new stuff and his 'hits'. He's no longer as theatrical as he used to be, but he still used a large number of smaller props which were effective (balloons, boa, smoke, hats etc) and even did a classic performance of Antichrist Superstar complete with Bible! I personally feel he's back on form, and despite not being as shocking as he used to be, remains to put on a great, exciting and energetic show.

A warm Thursday in July and I find myself at the Brixton Academy waiting to see Marilyn Manson.. I had already been treated to a superb set by Lacuna Coil (another of my favorite bands) but could not have guessed the show that was to follow. In true Manson style there was an anticipation building in the crowd due to a large black sheet covering the stage view, added to the fact that the house lights kept flashing up to a balcony above the stage, and I half expected him to jump over the balcony in a harness and fly down but that was not to be.. what was to be though was an excellent mix of old and new. Due to the size of Brixton I'm guessing that Manson had to scale down some of the things he probably would have liked to have done - this will have been the fourth time I had seen him and in the past he has always liked the use of props. Towards the end of the set a podium was pushed to the front of the stage where Manson performed in true dictator style, commanding the audience with his lyrics.. All in all the best show I have seen so far this year and I've been to several... with several more to come!

Really enjoyed this concert. To be honest I thought he'd probably be dreadful, but he sang in tune and sounded like his CD's. He did lots of his hits inter-laced with new tracks. The croud was good and a fun night was had by all. Only disappointed that he didn't do anything more controversial on stage!

Ive been a Manson fan for a long time and saw his disappointing performance at download 2009, but the day I hoped for has arrived, he's back to true form! His vocals were awesome and he had the energy and stage presence that made Manson, well... What we always used to think of Manson! The new songs were very well received, getting as an enthusiastic reaction as the classics. I honestly could not have dared for it to be as good as it was. Trust the Anti-Christ to rise in a year the myans predicted the Apocalypse....
To sum up, it was awesome!

This was my 4th time seeing Manson and he is now like a wine you've left open for too long..it turns into vinegar. I left before the end and I consider myself a die hard fan. The sound was wrong, the venue was wrong and Manson the entertainer was nowhere to be seen. He gave a soulless performance to a bunch of 15 years old.

I have seen Marilyn Manson 4times over the past 11 years, and inwalkednoutmafter 40 minutes. He was about 30minutes late on stage. There was no atmosphere and it seemed like he didn't care about the performance. His voice wasn't up to much either.

We were very disappointed, but we were the only people that left... There seemed to be quite a lot of fans leaving when we did.

Don't think I will be going to another Marilyn Manson gig.

Truly one of the best concerts I've been to!
Haven't seen Manson before, and didn't know what to expect, but he was AWESOME!!! Excellent show, great sound and performance! Can't wait for next time!

Left after 1 pint (30mins) what was happening on stage did not match what I was hearing my only conclusion is that the guitars were on backing tracks and not being played. Worst gig I've ever been too.

This is the second time I have seen Marilyn Manson live. It was a sale out gig with around 2500 people packing a very hot venue. Buying the ticket from ticket master was very smooth not a problem with getting in just the normal search and cattle prod procedures!
It did take some time so if you are going to the Brixton O2 give as much time as possible as the support act was already in full swing when we got through the doors.

Marilyn Manson stage shows are very well presented and he is obviously a performer who prides himself on giving his audience a show to remember. I would not call myself a avid fan as I only really became interested in his music when I heard High End of Low (which I believe was not well received by his hard core fans) so I liked it and went to see the promotion tour a few years ago at O2 Glasgow.

This tour was not a disappointment as the same amazing standard was upheld. From start to finish Manson captivated the audience with lights, music, theatrical props and gestures. If you get the chance, go and see him perform I am sure it will not be a gig that you will be able to forget.
