brill brill brill......hoping for a quick return. so great live and sounds the same not like a lot of artists. full of energy and a great band too. nice venue within walk of the city.

The concert was amazing and the venue was ok, we had a few hiccups about the booking of the concert the date and venue was changed from the thursday 12th nov to the monday 9th nov so that meant we lost out on the hotel rooms we had booked (Travel Lodge) they refused to change our booking so we lost our money, but apart from that we had a terrific time pity we could not do any line dancing to his songs we were iching to get up and dance.

Opening act(s): Believe her name was Micah Roberts (or was it Michelle). Anyway, she is part of Toby's team but had a fantastic voice to open the show. Simple performance, but great songs to get the crowd warmed up. Looking forward to hearing an album from her very soon! @

Toby Keith put in a fantastic performance on the night. New to his music, didn't know how good he would be live! He didn't let me down. From the moment he took the stage he had the Apollo rocking!

He was on stage approx 11/2hrs, and it flew by! Great songs, great backing band! Only let down was he had to finish, having gone through 20 plus hit records. He could have gone on for another 2hrs to get all the records in I like, but maybe next time, and there will be a next time!

A job well done Toby Keith! Rock On!

After standing in the Q for almost 2 hours in the freezing cold, we hit the jackpot. Front row middle seats right under the mic. Amazing!!
After the first song, they got Toby's sound balance perfect and the songs came thick and fast. Toby was just as good live as he is on disc, maybe even better.
This was Toby's first concert outside US (other than US Forces), and the Glasgow audience really got behind him. He was surprised that we were all singing along.
Loved every minute of it.

Fantastic, exciting, awesome,brilliant and the band were all excellent too. Toby Keith knows how to give a great show, and he very generously took time to sign autographs and get his picture taken with a good few fans afterwards. My only downside is that it was too short and i can't wait for him to come back real soon.

i'm a big country music fan and have been to many country concerts from Dixie Chicks to Tricia Yearwood, Mavericks to Keith Urban and i always dreamed that Toby would come over and he didn't disappoint at all.

Mika Roberts, the support ,was short but very very sweet, so much so that i downloaded her songs, but Toby was even better.he held a wonderful presence on stage throughout the concert, and the music he played covered his complete career which was excellent, as i brought my father along who didn't know much of his lasted tracks.

the only bad point of the evening was the audience rushing down the aisles and blocking the view, and being inconsiderate to other music lovers.

overall the concert itself was near perfect, only been to 1 or 2 that have bettered it. so please please tell all the other great artist how welcome we made you and come back very soon.

What a night.. Toby Keith was fantastic, and his band were first rate. A good mixture of old and new songs, unfortunatley it ended all to soon. The only down point of the night, was a delay between a warm up by the female backing singer- good voice- and the show. We waited over 30 mins for the show to start. A bit smoother next time, and more of the star, but he is so good that we were happy on the night.
Hope he realises what a following he has and does come back. PLEASE more venues next time. ie Manchester........ Thanks again Toby

One of the best shows I have attended. Even though we sat towards the back of the circle the sound was perfect. Toby and group sounded as good as on disc. Only small grouse was that the encore was too short at one song and was a little bit too heavy rock.

Seeing Toby Keith perform at the Apollo was the best night of my life! It is a very rare occurance that country artists come over to the UK to perform and so we were really lucky to get tickets. We found the whole experience very enjoyable and would gladly do it again, but maybe next time won't use the trains to get home! Toby Keith is even better live than he is on the radio and it was an honour to be able to see him in Concert.

This was Toby's first European Tour and I certainly hope it's not his last. Toby was just as fantastic as his recordings. He performed so many of his hits from I Wanna Talk About Me to his new American Ride. Toby also put on a very moving performance in memory of his lost friend..... it sent shivers down my spine. Toby's supporting band had to be the best in the business and his support, Mica, was phenomenal. There were no gimmicks, it was Toby and his band and I can't wait to see him again. Go TK!!!

This gig was amazing - no two ways about it. His vocals, energy and band were outstanding - no lipsynching with this guy!! If ever you get the opportunity to see this man grab it with both hands and don't let it get away. If you don't kick your backside for not seeing him when you can, I'll kick it for you.

The venue was perfect and other venues such as the MEN or Liverpool Arena could learn a grat deal from the Odyssey's bar set up. At the MEN and Liverpool Arena, the person serving you prepares the drinks - not at the Odyssey. They have dedicated staff for each operation of serving their clients resulting in virtually no queueing time to buy a drink. They also have nifty cardboard carriers for your drinks - again, MEN and others - pay a visit and pay attention.

Opening act(s): Mica Rogers (aka Mike) was brilliant. A member of Toby's band and a recording artist in her own right. She had a fantastic voice and gave a great performance. The only down side, she was only on stage for 15 mins. @

This was the first time I have seen Toby Keith in concert and I can honestly say that it won't be the last. From the moment he came on stage, the Apollo was buzzing. He sang a great selection of songs and I don't think there were many dry eyes in the house when he sang his song about his friend who sadly passed away earlier this year. He got the crowd singing along to some of his songs which sadly not many knew the words. He sang a great many of my favourites, Beer for My Horses, Weed with Willie and I Love This Bar to name a few.

I would hope that Toby Keith will come back again to the UK and this time perhaps do a few more tour dates as I would certainly be interested in seeing him again.

Downside, for me, The concert just did not last long enough, although Toby was on stage from 9 til 10.30 with a small 5 min break in that time.

Sum up : BRILLIANT, MORE PLEASE

i couldnt wait to see toby keith in belfast and it was awesome he did not in anyway dissapoint, if i can i will go see him preform in the usa, he has always been my favourite country singer, now even more,everybody was standing up claping along from the start and were all singing his songs with him, he will not forget all us that 13th night in belfast, all of us n.ireland pleople, and all i can say is if you havent saw him live yet well make a point to see him, this man rockkkksssss, eat your heart out( garth brooks )......

I have waited with great anticipation to See Toby Keith Live and even arranged a holiday in Scotland around it.
The switch of date in the 1st place was disappointing but presumably a bigger venue was needed?
To have unreserved tickets is a ridiculous idea - you have to buy the tickets and then queue outside the venue to get a decent seat - so we waited from 6.00pm until 7.30 in the freezing cold to get a seat. Then wait another 1/2 hr inside -presumably to help you thaw out.
Then a warm up artist sings 4 songs and then you wait another 40 mins for the crew to set the stage again. Then at 9.00pm Toby Keith come on. Although he tried his best and his performance was good, the sound was diabolical, you couldn't hear the backing at all.
Myself like the whole audience made the best of a bad job and enjoyed the show but the venue was a disgrace, the pits would be a description, but probably this would be an insult to 'the original pits' as this place was worse!!
Toby stayed on stage for over 90 mins and reacted well with the audience and related a few experiences which some were sad and some very funny. He tried his best and I would like to see him again but not at this venue.

apart from long waiting time to get in to venue,dont know what the cause was,the support act was good but only lasted 30mins.then we had 40 minute wait again for main act. toby keith was great but his performance was ruined by sound problems,twice the band lost their monitor sound which ended in toby keith callin it a day and only playing 1 curtain call,liked the venue would go back to see another concert but bad sound company ruined a great night.

Being from the US, I am used to larger venues but was pleasantly suprised at how nice this theatre was and how well my view was (from the back row side).

I had no trouble seeing and was engaged during the entire show!

I am so glad I went to this concert and would love to see more Country here! Toby Was awesome and well worth the 3 hours it took us to get up to see him! He was good at choosing songs everyone would like.
