A fantastic night of entertainment. KWS is a really underrated talent but blistering shows like this will only serve to enhance his, and his stirling band's, reputation..
A mix of new and older songs from his repotoire plus an awesome interpretation of Hendrix's Voodoo Chile to encore. At some 20 minutes in length it was worth to admission fee on it's own.
Up there with Joe Bonamassa, it cant be long before the world hears KWS and the band get the recognition they thouroughly deserve.

KWS Band .. what a fantastic gig .. Master class in Musicianship.
What a band great music & excellant vocals by Noah Hunt.
Kenny Wayne Shepherd was on fire the guitar playing was fantastic.

Was really looking forward to this gig as missed him last time (full tour due?) he was over. Wasn't disappointed, most of my favourite numbers were in there, and performance excellent. Recorded for some excerpts to go out on Paul Jones show 9/7/2012.....but why oh why did he encore with Hendrix Voodoo Chile and Fleetwoods Oh Well, Hendrix should be left alone unless given a totally different angle, and Kenny,bless him added nothing. You really should leave the gig with one of the artists songs playing in your head...waste, and detracted from what otherwise was an excellent evening.

The Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band at Islington Assembly Hall were terrific: a great night out. The tight rhythm section had great pace & timing of the drums and inovative bass with Kenny's driving lead guitar and Noah's vocals the band was just exciting. Started at pace and continued for 2 hours. A very exciting rhythm & blues band.

Lovely venue, good crowd, nicely chilled.
Amazing guitar work, worked the crowd brilliantly. Awesome live. If you are in the market for an evening of rocking blues and pyrotechnic guitar look no further.
