I bought this as a gift for my sisters 40th birthday. I would not normally spend this amount of money on a meet and greet. Firstly we are both fans of Quo but not die hard, go and see them every single concert, wear denims and a thousand badges fans. We have liked them since being kids and buy most of their albums if we like them.
The concert itself was good, although missing some of our personal favourites, most notibly Caroline & Rocking all over the world. It was upsetting to see Alan Lancaster not in full health but once on stage, you could not fault his playing or singing, brilliant. Rossi and Parfitt were, as always, amazing. John Coghlan also played well.
The meet and greet bit for me was a let down. I probably expected too much, but if that is what I should expect, then I will not do one again.
It was oversold, over regulated and it appeared that the "Frantic Four" did not want to be there meeting their fans. Alan Lancaster was a gent and talkative, John Coghlan seemed like he was out of place, Rossi at first a bit miserable but did get better as the meet and greet went on. Parfitt appeared to be the only one at ease.
For me it would have been better if there was less of us, a little more relaxed and personal. For us it was a massive experience not shared appreciated by those we had paid to do the meet and greet.
