The guys just get better and better. A mind boggling combination of unbelievable musical talent, massive riffs, complex rhythms and masses of feeling.
Quite simply one of the best bands in the world - if only going by musical talent alone.
As this was not a tour for an album there was a good mixture of new and old songs that kept every fan happy.
The best gig i've ever been to.

Mangini is a beast.
The band was on fire.
This was my fifth time seeing them and they're stronger than ever. Make no mistake, these guys are a force to be reckoned with.
Periphery were a fantastic opener but it's a shame that they couldn't use the full extent of the lighting/video features as they looked a bit like a small fish in a big pond on that giant wembley stage. They were dead tight. Another beastly drummer. Three top banana guitarists. The singer put it on a plate and SERVED IT IN YOUR FACE!

Can't believe the amount of reviews saying how amazing they were,
In fairness to the band the sound quiality @ Wembley is quite bad and the beggining of their set sounded awful....which they did improve on,
They are the most pretentious band I have ever seen which just made me dislike them more
anyone want any Dream Theatre Cd's there in the bin outside my house lol

Seventh time seeing DT live. Consumate professionals as ever. Very tight set and great sound. Loved the stage show but did not distract from the music. One of the best shows I witnessed although I am not quite sure about Wembley Arena is suited to them. Much preferred when they played Hammersmith Apollo.

I've been following DT since 1994. This is the first time that I manage to see them live. They were amazing. I took my husband who has only recently started listening to them and he has been converted. We saw them in Wolverhampto, the size of the venuw was perfect for their music. it is just a shame that they have decided to play massive arenas in ther 2012 tour :(

What a fantastic show ! The sound and lighting were amazing. New drummer Mike Mangini demonstrated his right to be centre of the best prog rock band in the world with a technically brilliant solo - how many drummers can do single handed rolls at the speed he does them?

It was interesting to hear from the stage that computers have played a large part in keeping Dream Theater on the road for so many years. This was so very evident in the flawless performance that kept a barely half full Wembley Arena on their toes last Friday.
The "prog rock" style of music is not terribly fashionable in the UK which possibly goes to explain the high number of Far Eastern faces in the audience. The main attention is drawn to the enormous drum kit sitting proudly on its riser that is played with precision forming the backbone to the sound, a very clever rack system on keyboards provided a refreshing change from the usual hidden figure in such groups. Bass and lead guitars with masses of pedals contributed to the rich overall texture of the music. Vocals I felt were slightly weak tending to be rather hidden in the sound mix especially in quieter pieces .. it could have simply where I was seated, or possibly a slight throat problem on the night as copious amounts of water were drunk.
The main thing that struck me was how very easy they all made it look ... no dashing about the stage or flashy gestures just quietly going about thier business of playing the complex compositions. How beautifully the instruments were kept, no chunks off or scratches, and they were handed back to the roadcrew as if they were made of the finest glass.
Clever lighting, again not a huge rig, but adapted to show films and project stage shots on the 3 large dice hanging as a backdrop. Not every song was to my taste as the group has such a huge choice, but really there was something from every era of the band.
Overall a good evening and will see them again when they next visit our shores.

Mix Pink Floyd, Bohemian Rhapsody, classical instrumental depth with powerful melodic heavy metal & you will get a brief idea about how musically rich Dream Theater is.

What can I say, a brilliant concert! The seats we had were amazing, only six rows from the front and dead center. The band played extremely well, and to improve on that the sound was great - not so loud that sound entering your ears was distorted, but certainly loud enough to rock to!

The Arena needs echo cancellation system. And dream theater didnt play many of their popular songs. I was expecting them to play like something from Train of Thought, Metropolis part 1, These Walls, Ytse Jam, Something from Systematic Chaos and Black Clouds
