I last saw Billy back in the 80's with my new wife and returned last night with our teenage son. I'm older and so is Billy, but the years have not dulled his genius for story telling or comedic timing! He is just as funny as I remember. For the audience, this is a show of spinning complexity as Billy wanders from one hilarious tale to the next - forgetting where he had started from and how he had got to what he was currently telling you about. My son thought he was wonderful and rated the Laughs Per Minute (LPM) as high as Russell Howard or any of the new crop of comedians.
This is a show of new material and a new older perspective on life - wonderful, simply wonderful! Two and a half hours well spent!

The Big Yin was in awesome form and back to his best. He never ceases to amaze me on how he can go off on a tangent telling two or three stories at the same time but always returning back to where he left off & finishing on his original link.

I haven't laughed so much in years & at one point the man sitting next to me made his wife swap places with him to get away from me! some people are no fun.

I would recommend anybody to go and see Billy Connolly, He is the master & nobody else comes close. A brilliant night out & a perfect way to celebrate our anniversary.

First time we seen Billy live, it was fab, his ability to start to tell a story then half way through start another, but arriving back at the same place he left off is a talent in itself. He is naturally funny and anyone who can stand on stage for 2-2 1/2 hours and keep you entertained is well worth seeing.

I have wanted to see Billy Connolly for many years and was fortunate enough to receive tickets for my birthday. After all this time, I was a little anxious that maybe the show wouldn't live up to my expectations - How wrong I was !!!
A brilliant evening - full of fun, laughter and the zany train of thought from the great man. I would love to see him again and would highly recommend it to everyone.

Having laughed uncontrollably at the TV listening to Billy for many years, I was really looking forward to seeing him live for the first time. I was, however, a little disturbed that such an intelligent and articulate comedian of past would resort to such strong language to get a laugh so many times through out the show- lazy really.
There were moments of brilliance in the performance and for that I am glad I went... but I won't be going again.

Billy was great but ...!

He forgets where he is, which can be both endearing and charming but at the same time frustrating and shows that he has not got the power and hold he once had

Nonetheless, a good evening with some flashes of the "old" Billy.

His rant against reveiwers and technology were great !

What a fun night out at the Hammersmith Apollo, been trying to get tickets to see him for a good few years but always sell out too quickly. Well worth the wait tho, he was on stage for 2-2.5hrs and never stopped making the crowd laugh about his experiences and life in general. Love his way with words and how he tells his stories as well as his jokes, makes you think! Billy Connolly we love you, would def go again to another stand-up comedy night of his, and if you haven't been, you must go if you like his sense of humour, he has a way with words and loooove the scottish accent. Great night out.

From the moment Billy came on stage and until he went off I didn't stop laughing. His jokes and stories were funny and amazing and everyone around me felt the same he made you really laugh. Brilliant comedian and I would definately go and see Billy again .

Dire. Avoid. I am a long time fan but Connolly has either lost it or gone totally complacent. He had not bothered to get any new funny stories and and looking round most of the audience found it as dull as I did.

It was to be the first time that I saw Billy live, as well as seeing a show at the Apollo, and he didn't disappoint. He may've rambled on occassions, but that's all part of his act as far as I'm concerned. The Apollo is a great venue and even though I had a standing ticket, the view to the stage was clear... I was slightly worried before I got to the venue but luckily it's smaller than it appears on TV.

Great night and highly recommended.

I took my partner who has never seen Billy before, although she is English, she just adores my Billy CDs and DVDs. She was really excited about going to see Billy and we were not disappointed.

What a fantastic experience and a privilege to be in his Live company.

Long may he continue to perform and to provide other people with the opportunity to revel in his humour.

I've been to many comedy nights/gigs but never had the chance to see Billy Connolly. I always thought he was halarious and when i saw him live he was even better than i had expected!

Billy at his best - 2 hours plus of non stop comic genius delivered in his own inimitable style. His stories are brilliant and you know they are going to be good when halfway through, he laughs so hard he cant finish telling it. Don't miss him if you get a chance to see his show, grab it with both hands.
