What an excellent night out, an amazing band with some world class musicians, petty George Benson din't have a guitar with him, that would have topped it for me !

Ronny Jordan -played a great set ably supported by Mel Davis .Initial tracks were from the forthcoming album.
Half way though Ronny says we have a guest in the house and down walks George Benson who plays a couple of numbers.
After this Ronny seemed to go from strength to strength which you can imagine if your hero had just walked on stage and endorsed your playing.

For me the instrumental version of Sade's smooth operator and the finshing so what were the highlights plus George.

The music was amazing and the audience very warm!
However it wasn't mentioned in the Jazz cafe website that they were going to start at 9, so we were there two hours earlier. That might be known to regular clients, but since it was the first time I visited the place, it wasn't clear at all. Also, it was very cold inside, and we had to stay with our coats on until the end. Probaly it would be worth paying a bit more to sit on the tables upstairs. However, the band was so great we had a great time!

Great evening - Mal Davis was great.
My only wish was that Ronny Jordan should have played more of the tracks off his older CDs.
Look forward to another show like this.

Ronny Jordan with keyboardist Mel Davis was an awesome show...highly entertaining . I thoroughly enjoyed it till the end.
We booked 'the dinner deal' at Jazz Cafe, the food itself wasnt nice at all and next time I will go to the venue for the show only.

Ronny rertrurned to the Uk for the first time in 5 years. It was worth waiting for. His performance was excellent and definately worthwhile. he certainly kept the audience spellbound with his guitar playing. Even George Benson was there to support him. After he had performed for an hour and a half, he took time out to speak with those fans who wanted an autograph and picture. i hope he does not stay away for afurther 5 years. Cannot wait to get hold of his new album whcih is due out in March 2010.

What a fantastic night - I have several of Ronnie Jordan's cds which are superb. However, he really surpassed himself 'live' - an added bonus was that great legend, Mr George Benson himself, joining Ronnie on stage for an impromptu number! What a night, I shall certainly remember it - and for all the right reasons!

A high class performance from the R J trio, keyboard player Mel helped to create some great tunes.
George Benson made a surprise guest appearance (both to him and the audience) when he was invited down to jam with the group. He performed like a true star scatting away like only George can do.

Awesome, good opening and special guest appearance. Felt that it could have gone on little longer (for £22 a ticket on door)
otherwise very highly recommended, only wish we could be there tonight as they are playing the 13th and 14th of feb maybe tonight will last longer.
