You know you are in for a good night when the first track leaves you smiling. I first heard JLF over twenty years ago and have to admit that although I was a fan of their music I lost track of the band after I stopped clubbing.
After this gig I really regret not keeping tabs as the music was stupendous and at an hour and three quaters with two encores I left feeling i had received fantasic value for money.
I will look forward to their return to the Jazz Cafe as the quality of the music has not diminished with the passing of time and I hope it will not be too long before we get to enjoy the very talented JLF.
