U2 not only take chances, surprising others, fans and media but also come out with flying colours. From Joshua Tree era to the brilliant evolution in 90's and magnificent comeback in the 2000's. For sure, U2's talent, music and songwriting has no line on the horizon. To enjoy the best of U2, there cannot be a place as good as Milenium Stadium, Cardiff, which turned into U2's very own city of blinding lights.
The idea of an enormous space station like stage (an idea which only U2 can come up with) with incredile lights and effects certainly made this live event the best I've ever been to. To be fair, I thought the same when I saw them in Manchester back in 2005 on Vertigo tour but this gave me the fulfilling feeling of Popmart which I missed.
The ticket price starting from as low as £30 is incredible, a ticket I purchased, and benefiting from 360 degree view was well worth it, and U2 also didn't ignore the crowd.
The show was incredible, the lighting was fantastic and U2 were at their very best, dare I say, U2 are BOYs again. The setlist was perfect although some might feel certain songs were missing but that's ok because a band as perfect, stable, consistent for 30yrs may themselves struggle to choose the best from the very best of setlists.
All in all, a fantastic night...A NIGHT TO REMEMBER
