The stage was amazing. Wembley Stadium was the perfect venue. The set was also spot-on. a few great songs from the new album to kick off, then a bit of Unforgettable Fire, Sunday Bloody Sunday, Pride etc plus four fantastic Actung tracks including my fave Ultra Violet Rays while Bono wore an LED leather jacket. The 360 degree concept was a nice idea but sitting behind the stage was not great - the band faced forward 95% of the time and when the TV screens showed content other than focusing on the band, I had no idea what they were doing. Real shame. The sound was fantastic but wish i had been standing at the front. Hope they do another tour!

U2 were absolutely spectacular. being in the red zone was unforgettable! the only problem with the whole day (and we were there from gates opening to end of concert) were the supporting acts. while other parts of the country had 'famous' names, we were stuck with non-entities. absolute rubbish. would never pay to see them in a million years!

I was at Wembley but thought U2 were rather flat (apart from Unforgettable Fire), it was just a wall of noise. We were at the other end & there was too much echo, you couldn’t hear the individual instruments or vocals, most songs sounded alike (& I’m a life long fan!). Almost as though the stage & effects would do the job for them.
Elbow on the other hand were awesome. Their sound & exuberance filled the arena when it was no-where near full, a very pleasant surprise to an otherwise disappointing gig.

My first time for seeing the band in about 15 years was well worth the wait. Being in my home town made it more special, a lovely late summers evening and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Visually the most amazing thing I have ever seen and my concerns over Bono's voice never came to light. The new songs came across well and a good mix of some older less known ones. Very well supported by Elbow as well, I don't think I blinked for 3 hours!

U2 not only take chances, surprising others, fans and media but also come out with flying colours. From Joshua Tree era to the brilliant evolution in 90's and magnificent comeback in the 2000's. For sure, U2's talent, music and songwriting has no line on the horizon. To enjoy the best of U2, there cannot be a place as good as Milenium Stadium, Cardiff, which turned into U2's very own city of blinding lights.
The idea of an enormous space station like stage (an idea which only U2 can come up with) with incredile lights and effects certainly made this live event the best I've ever been to. To be fair, I thought the same when I saw them in Manchester back in 2005 on Vertigo tour but this gave me the fulfilling feeling of Popmart which I missed.
The ticket price starting from as low as £30 is incredible, a ticket I purchased, and benefiting from 360 degree view was well worth it, and U2 also didn't ignore the crowd.
The show was incredible, the lighting was fantastic and U2 were at their very best, dare I say, U2 are BOYs again. The setlist was perfect although some might feel certain songs were missing but that's ok because a band as perfect, stable, consistent for 30yrs may themselves struggle to choose the best from the very best of setlists.
All in all, a fantastic night...A NIGHT TO REMEMBER

With hundreds of reviews already on the U2 360 Tour it pretty much goes without saying that the whole event was spectacular. The production was awesome and the sound crystal clear, event for a stadium gig. The whole band used the massive stage well with lots of crowd interaction.
Millennium Stadium is, like Wembley, an awesome spectacle in it's self and the surrounding area in Cardiff has some night venues to goto before and after the gig. The only downer to the whole evening was that, also like Wembley, the bar was overpriced and there were massive queues for everything from getting served, to going to the toilet. Why can't these stadiums learn to cater for their large capacities they attract? But that said, I'd go back (maybe sneak in a hip flask next time ;-)
To add to the whole great experience, it was one of those rare superbly sunny and warm English summer days!
very good times all round..

we paid $85.00 each and were up in the gods, in the 5th storey. The sound was poor and the view was terrible - although the stage and the screen were impressive our view
was of the back where the roadies were and the floor was empty with no crowd which made is feel atmophereless. Many a time the screen came down and was in red colouring or feature bulls but we were unable to see the band. We have seen u2 at twickenham and paid less, we were standing then and had a fantastic view and sound was amazing - this would make me think twice of seeing them again, it deffinately was 360 tour more like 180 degreess tour

The band kicked ass from the moment they came on stage. They made good use of their amazing stage to orbit round and give the entire stadium a good rock 'n' roll look at them. There was a heavy concentration on their latest album, which is to be expected, but still a pleasing selection from their back catalogue.
It shows how prolific they really are when after a good 2 hours or so of solid music I could still think of their great songs they hadn't had time to play.
My only niggle was that the £50 standing tickets had gone almost instantly, leaving the £150 seated round the edge tickets. I splashed out on these as we've been tring to see U2 for years now and this was our 1st time. However, of course everyone stood up when the band came on so the £50 standing area became the closest vantage point. In other words I paid an extra £100 pound to stand further away!
The venue was quite intimate for a stadium - would visit again.

It was my first Wembley concert and a very unique show indeed... U2 is a legend and their concerts are unimitable... The "claw" stage with its screens and lights was breathtaking, and the sound was the best I ever heard at concert.
However, comparing this show with recent Coldplay show at Wembley, Coldplay is a clear winner - their drive and pace could not be matched even by U2. Besides that, I don't think the latest U2 album is their best, while Coldplay's Viva La Vida shows them at their top...
But both events were truly amazing...

This was my first time at Wembley.....took my dad as a present for his 60th birthday as he loves U2. Great concert.......we sat quite far back & up which was perfect as got a great view looking down on the stadium! They played all their best songs & atmosphere was brilliant. Would definitely recommend U2 live.

The stage was amazing and gave a really good view all round - I have never not been on the field but this time had to book seats due to ill health - the set up of the stage meant that we had a really good view of all round and the way they were able to move the bridges around was ingenious.
U2 were as good as I remembered and even though 20 years have passed since I first saw them - they still have what it takes to ROCK!
The only down side was that they lost sound due to technical problems for about 3 Minutes but like true professionals carried on and the rest of their performance was fautless so made up for it.
