A great evening. Beautiful songs with wonderful lyrics. And inbetween the songs the most tremendous storytelling. You go away from the evening having been truly entertained. You couldn't get this from a CD and that's what makes it such a great event. Laurence Juber adds real quality with his lead guitar and his opening set is real class. Don't miss Al next time around. Oh and prepare to be insulted by Neville Judd who sells the merchandise for Al. Big ego, no talent .

Shared a cosy, comforting evening with Al at the Grand. Not just a natural talent musically and lyrically, Al also obviously well read. Could listen to the man play, sing and talk all day. Hope this doesn't make it sound bland;it wasn't, it was like when you've had a good evening with friends - only the wine and food missing!
