Despite appalling weather we braved the snow across the Pennines to Manchester and were not disappointed!!!
PSB were on usual form, we saw the same concert in June and thought that was good, this time they surpassed themselves!!

I was fortunate to get tickets to see this very same Pet Shop Boys Concert on 20th December last year when they played at the Manchester MEN Arena. Having never seen a live PSB Concert except on DVD I didn’t know what to expect. I was not disappointed. From beginning to end I was completely entertained and the overall show was excellent. From all the classic PSB songs right through to a selection of songs from their recent album ‘Yes’ as well as a couple of covers, there is something there for everyone and you will not be disappointed. How impressed were we? As soon as these tickets went on sale again we bought some more to go and see them again at the Newcastle Arena in July 2010!

Saw the boys three times, Liverpool, Birmingham and Manchester. Brilliant show every time. Neils voice is amazing. The dancers were excellent especially Jealousy.
Looking forward to Blackpool and Bournemouth in July.

Trip was a surprise birthday present for my wife a longtime PSB's fan, she absolutely loved every minute of it, I on the other hand am not particularly a PSB's fan, but found myself dancing along with the rest of the crowd and also thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Listen, for any serious electronic music fans out there, if you don't see this group some time in your life then whats the point, commercially are they not the most successful electronic band ever? whos bigger????? Well as I'm a Human League and OMD fan its a hard answer that one, lol, These guys still rock my world, its a sin, always on my mind, and ov cause, the most interesting lyrics to open any song, West End Girl? blows your mind...... I saw these chaps in Manchesters Apollo and will very much see again when they come round.
Neil the consummate professional, vocals were bob on.. he's still got his voice people unlike other artists and groups that don't sound like they should do.... haha.

What a fantastic evening the 'boys' are better than ever! We fought through snow drifts (no we are not lying!) to get out to the main road and it was worth all the effort we had to put into it. They gave us everything and more, the voice is still the greatest and the hats were sublime. A very polished event, roll on their next!

Fantastic gig with an amazing atmosphere. Support act, ' Bad Leiutenant' very good as starter doing some classic 'New Order' material too as well as new stuff. Main event, 'Pet Shop Boys' outstanding as always. The set, effects, dancers and graphics adding to the vintage Neil and Chris sound! Show very well presentated in sections of music from their career to date and played as a mix as seen similarly at the Brit awards.
Carnt wait for the next one!! Quick mention also for Pete Gleadall, 'Pet Shop Boys' musical director!!

Favourite moment: When Chris Lowe ran accross the stage randomly when Neil ''wasn't looking''!? ha ha I also love all the old classic tunes. @
Opening act(s): Bad Lieutenant, lead singer was the bloke from New Order, so had same feel and similiar sound, so it was a good support I thought for PSB. @

I have seen them before so I knew I wouldnt be disapointed and I wasnt! I went with two non fans, they loved it! We enjoyed it even more due to the fact that we changed our seats as my friend has vertigo, we sat on the floor half way from the stage. The view and atmosphere was amazing from that position! Great!

I have seen the Pet Shop Boys live a few times and have never been disappointed, but this gig at the magnificent O2 arena was mind blowing! The stage set was stark white with bright flashes of colour, giant cubes and video projections to match each song eg/ New York skyscrapers during 'New York city boy' (During which Chris Lowe emerged from behind his sound desk to dance with dancers dressed as skyscrapers!) and Dusty Springfield during 'What have I done to deserve this?'.
Neil Tennant's voice is superb and sounds exactly as it does on their CD's, he was note-perfect. The dancers were incredible, especially during 'Jealousy' which culminated in the male and female dancer throwing giant cubes at each other. I think that the production by Stuart Price (of Les Rythmes Digitales) is a prefect match for the Pet Shop Boys, with classic songs like West End Girls enhanced by Mr Price's house/dance influence. I lived how one song would merge into another - Domino Dancing/Viva La Vida by Coldplay was a big highlight and the song is on their Christmas EP. My sister and I danced our socks off and had sore throats from singing along to every track!
Dont just think about seeing PSB's live - DO IT!! They are one band you need to see live in your lifetime and their broad appeal was plain to see by the complete mix of people there

overall GUTTED! gutted about the whole production of the boys (really poor show). im sure there was a lot of miming going on??? ok so they only played a couple of songs i recognised from back in the day, but even the songs they chose i considered not their best selection. Cant believe i waited nearly a year to see the concert and there was no atmosphere???
