Hard to believe these guys weren't a headline act if you ask me!! They were blistering live!! A lot of people claim Dave Mustaine cannot hold a vocal note live and his guitar aching live is not up to half as good as on CD.... Well these people must be smoking crack!!
From the minute he walked on stage he was simply brilliant... As he roared out the more classic Megadeth tunes into some of his newer stuff he was captivating!!
A lot of people at download had been to see Metallica the day before... And many were doing the usual Metallica V Megadeth speeches.. I'm a fan of both and have to say Megadeth Deserve a headline spot coz under add act they are not.... Although I suppose no band is too big to open for Black Sabbath?

12th time seeing Megadeth live and as always they did not dissapoint. Dave was on top form as usual! Hearing Forclosure of a dream was a major highlight for me, as its always been a fav of mine and ive always wanted to hear it live! The crowd were brilliant and we screamed the words to every song. Sweating Bullets was a highlight and Dave seemed impressed with our singing!
Amazing having Jnr back in the band. It was like he'd never been away!
Still the best band in the world to me.. Cant wait for show 13!

Classic metal at its best. Sound quality and energy levels very good. Playlist great but nothing off So Far... Would have loved a couple more songs at the end. This band still cut it. Mustaine's hair looking more like my mother in law's than ever. Time for a haircut Dave?

Hot after Download (50 minutes or so), the band played 85 minutes of an amazing shredding repertoire. A show in our top 3 with Orlando Gigantour and Bristol. Some rarely played new stuff from recent albums, and some old favourites, She Wolf, Tout le Mon, Sweating Bullets, Peace Sells, etc, culminating as usual with Holy Wars. Marvelous venue with 1100 of the Cyber Army packed into space for 1000, but the sound was crisp, even if the fans were sweaty and anything but crisp. Not too loud, and highly recommended.

Megadeth at the ballroom, small venue but having seen them at Download two days before in front of tens of thousands to see them in front of hundreds was great. Good mix of old and new songs and Dave Mustaine as ever was on top form
