Maze definetly rocked the house, performed a long and brilliant set and covered all the classics. Band was excellent. First time for me seeing them and really glad I didn't miss the opportunity!

Having listened to and admired Frankie Beverly as a performer and outstanding frontman to an amazing underestimated Soul Band, this has to be up there with the best live performance I've seen from them, bearing in mind that Frankie is 63 years young.
I first saw Maze and Frankie Beverly some 26 years ago at Hammersmith, they blew me away then and they are still doing the business. A pure quality Soulful experience if ever there was one. I urge anyone who hasn't already seen them live, to make sure you get your tickets for the next time they perform in the UK, you wont be disappointed.

What a night - seen Frankie loadsa times way back in the 70s/80s - and a couple of years ago back at Hammy! What a fantastic night in a fantastic venue - I love INdigo2 - the atmosphere was just AMAZEING - Frankie comes on and you can feel the lurve!! Jus got a lump in my throat and when he sang I WANNA THANK YOU - we all sang it back to him with all our hearts you'll - He never disappoints and for a bloke of 63 - well what more can i say - the best live group ever!! - If you ever get the chance to experience a MAZE gig - do so - I JUST WANNA THANK YOU - frankie your amazing - love ya xx

My friend and I hadn't been out in ages, and wanted to go to something really special. In the wrong shoes, we danced and sang all evening to one of the best groups ever! Frankie was absolutely brilliant; he just gets better with age. All of the old hits sounded fresh and listening to the medley, I had forgotten how many great hits Maze has achieved. The atomosphere in the crowd was the icing on the cake. I looked around and everyone was enjoying themselves!

The sore feet were worth it - looking forward to having them back over again!

Woohoo! I have waited 24 years for this since I last saw Maze at Brixton Academy and what a treat it was. I had never been to Indigo2 before so that was the 1st pleasant surprise. Lovely venue, I will go again.

As for the marvellous Frankie Beverly, I have never seen so much energy from a 63 year old. He has kept his voice and his interaction with the audience is legendary.

They managed to sing every one of my favourites especially, of course, Joy & Pain which we all sang along with. I can't remember the last concert when I didn't stand still all night and every song brought a tear of nostalgia to my eye.

The guitar solo on Golden Time of Day was absolutley astounding. It transformed it from a lovely ballad into a unique almost rock-like experience.

I just can't wait until next time. I have promised myself I will never miss a Maze concert again.

This evening was fantastic. I have always wanted to see Maze in concert and was delighted that ethey had come to Indigo2. The music was excellent. Frankie Beverley's voice was an absolute delight to listen to. I had a wonderful evening. I hope I get the opportunity to see them again.

The show was great and the DJ before the show was entertaining, I enjoyed myself. It was my partners birthday, so I took him and he was surprised and thanked me for it. The Audion's seemed very entertained, even the people who were upstairs were up and dancing.

There are many bands that have gone on too long, have grown stale and are just doing it to make the retirement fund bigger. And then there's Maze. A band who have been making music for 45 years(!), whose integrity to the values and the music they hold dear has remained unwavered and who still enjoy what they do. Their music was as tight and fresh in 2010 as it was when I first saw them back in 1987 and their polished professionalism and enthusiasm made this gig as good and memorable as all the others I've seen. How Frankie Beverly still throws himself into every song with such gusto must be the envy of many a young performer. From slower ballads to eighties funk, love songs to the anthemic Joy and Pain and Happy Feelings, Maze delivered to an enthusiastic audience and left nobody wanting. They are not, and never have been, a high profile band, the majority of people don't know them. But for those who have discovered them, they are held very dear and are still producing music and live shows of the highest calibre for every soul, funk and R&B fan out there. Excellent!

Frankie rolled back the years on Sunday, playing all the old hits to a mixed audience of diehards and new fans. The personal touch was very evident given the closeness of everyone to the band in the Indigo. Great venue, easy to get a drink and return to your place without taking ages.
He promised this was the beginining of a new round of tours for him and the band, and I'll be there again as soon as the dates are released.

Went Sunday and the sound took me back to the first time we saw them, Form the beginning to the end the crowd where entertained by a very young (63 year old) and I wish I could move and sing like that when I reach that age. The sound was amazing and the view from the Kings Row was second to none. Wish I could rewind and have Sunday back again, lets hope they come back next year.

It was a fantastic nite!!

Maze gave their all considering their ages. Frankie's voice is not quite what it used to be but still he gave a stellar performance.

Dissappointed the Indigo2 didn't serve any snacks on the nite. Just drinks, otherwise the venue was ace.

I had been down for last couple of weeks due to lost of a family member so this was a great way of letting of steam. I went by myself and had such a great night I'm still smile now. Met a nice couple right at the front of the stage and we all had such a great time

It was like one big party everyone on the same vibe .JUST BRILLANT

A fantastic set by Frankie Beverly & Maze. The atmosphere was amazing with the whole house on their feet dancing to the classics!
A real "must see" for old soul heads looking to reminise and a
good education for the young ones on how "we do it"!!!!

A chilled and soulful experience as one would expect from the great Mr Beverly, really enjoyable BUT .... they didn't play Twilight!! We left a bit bewildered and stunned, couldn't quite believe they were really dismantling the set having not played one of the greatest soul anthems of the eighties. Probably 75% of the crowd at least looked to be ex 'Soul Weekender' bods to some extent and would only have come to hear Joy and Pain and that. I know bands can't play everything you want to hear, especially when they've been together 45 years (!!) and I know Twilight wasn't a mainstream hit but please, someone tell Frankie and the guys, audiences in England want to finish up with a super-funky rendition of the instrumental that defined their era, please!
