Gladys took my breath away

Favourite moment: My favourite moment of the show was when she sang the end of the road melody. Another memorable moment was when Dionne Warwick entered the stage. @

Opening act(s): Tito Jackson opened the show and he was excellent, playing a moving tribute of songs in memory of Micheal. Loved the blues music its was fantastic, so was his support singers. Infact better than some artist. @

Gladys definitley puts the female astist of today to shame. She has the most spectactular, unique voice that I have ever heard. I went to see her live in Vegas in April and hope that this was not the last time I will get to see her , She was truly amazing. It was a night to remember

from tito right through to gladys the whole evening was most enjoyable. gladys proved she has still a great voice singing all the classics.

Gladys was great, but the sound engineer let her down. Her voice was often drowned out by her backing band, & often you couldnt hear what she was singing. This is one artist you dont have to turn up to 11! Come on Wembley, you can do better than that.

I have been a fan since the 1960's and looked forward to this event, I was not disappointed. She looked and sounded amazing. It put into context the X-factor finalist standard when you hear a real singer live! She certainly knocked spots off the Whitney and Cheryl performances on that program (X-factor). Tito was better than anticipated and showed his love of the blues as well as some old Jacksons stuff, Venue was ok but food and bar facilities were not good (quality and choice). Overall a great night!

Gladys did not disappoint and sang most of her greatest hits - not "Help me make it through the night" though.
She looked great and her voice is amazing - it was a bonus that her older brother Bubba (a pip) was there and sang a solo and joined in for the second half of the concert.

Tito Jackson (supporting) was a joy and we really enjoyed his mixture of blues and soul

We traveled from Glasgow to Aberdeen just to see her and we were not disappointed. Gladys came out and grabbed us with her still amazing voice right from the start to the finish of the concert, getting us up on our feet to dance the night away.!!! She was worth every penny we paid for the tickets. Really hope this is not the last we will see of her, would travel farther if necessary.

Gladys was unbelieveable she had the majority of the crowd standing up for the majority of songs she sang, giving her a continous standing ovation.
She was great and my only regret is that I did not see her on the Thursday night as well. I feel I have missed out. It was great to be among thousand of people from all ages and ethnic group who also realised she is a super super star. I felt privilage once again for being in her company. I saw her the last time she was here (Royal Albert Hall) to me she just gets better and better. I hope she makes a new C/D and DVD of the show and a double album DVD of all her main live shows they are really unforgetable.
Great night out.
I never want to miss any of her shows.

After seeing Gladys Knight in Aberdeen we felt we had truly seen a living ledgend. This is someone we remembered from the 60s and 70s and we were not quite sure what to expect but it was a wonderful evening. She has not lost any of her sing ability in fact she seems to have got even better with age! She gave a truly emotional performance which everyone loved. Her older brother making an apperance just made the concert even more special. Tito Jackson also gave a great performance but the star of the show was definitely the star of the show.

Gladys Knight provided first class entertainment last Saturday at Cardiff with a great set that included most of the standards she is so well loved for.

The act included a suprise visit from the last Pip; Bubba Knight and the whole ensemble played and sang like they really enjoyed it.

The ticket paying guests at the party certainly did!

Her voice was amazing and belied her age. If you closed your eyes you would have thought you were back in 1977.

She was supported by first class band and backing singers who complemented her performance very well.

Tito Jacksonand his band was the support group and they too were excellent, playing a mixure of blues and the old Jackson 5 standards that went down very well with the audience. Michael's vocals being sung by Nicole Jackson who was first class.

All in all a very satisfying evening out.

Really good night from start to finish. Tito Jackson and his band were a fabulous support act. Gladys sang all the favourutes and more. She looks great and sounded as good as ever. It's just a shame that there weren't more tickets sold. Its so annoying that more performers don't come to Aberdeen but then when they do they don't get the support.

Hurry back.

I went to this gig as support with no real expectation other than to hear some favourite tunes, but came away amazed.
Gladys’s performance was truly encapsulating from start to finish. Not only did I feel that I had witness a very special talent and lady but also felt that I had been in the presence of a real human being that had managed to hold on the magic of what is important in life.

One of the best concerts I have ever been to and I have seen most female singers Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Celine to name but a few. Her voice was great, her song choice was great there was nothing I could fault well worth the money and the travel upto
Aberdeen.

Gladys Knight was brilliant and my family thoroughly enjoyed the concert.
Tito Jackson was a great backup and really got the audience warmed up.

Totally amazing, Gladys was on stage non stop for almost 2 hours, what a voice, what a woman, for a 65 year old Great Grandmother , tremendous , fantastic entertainer, She sang " Wind beneath my wings" and blew Bett Midler out. Please do not let this be your last Tour, would go and see her again tomorrow, please could we have the venue a wee bit nearer Central Scotland plus you would get a bigger crowd. Thanks Gladys.xxx

the best female vocalist of all time played a blinding set at the acee and showed the people who bothered to turn up how to put on a show ,and how to sing ,when you watch tv shows and the contestents are told they can sing they need to sit through a gladys knight concert and witness a real singer at work and see if they can match her ,the answer will be no chance ,the moment she came on stage you knew you were in presence of class and when she started singing well that was it for me ,a wonderful concert and a wonderful singer.
