You never know what your going to get with Axl but that was amazing! His voice was perfect and his stage presence was top class, it was an amazing set list a great mixture of new and old. I would have given anything for a standing ticket but the experience was outstanding, to sum up guns n roses are still the top band and axl has many years still in him so maybe I'll be lucky to see them again one day

Many people are always apprehensive when it comes to GNR cuz they're not the original line up anymore. I can't say i was because i had seen them in lisbon (2010).
Now, although i didn't quite liked Thin lizzy, i must confess they put on a hell of a show and any rock fan will like it. But when Guns N' Roses took the stage they once again showed me and all the other 20,000 people in attendance why they're one of the best bands on the planet. They have changed, and axl is now older. But they put on an amazing 3h performance with a setlist that goes from appetite all the way to they're newest work Chinese democracy, all the hit's are there, some covers and some amazing new songs. As a fan i loved it, and all i can say to the people who haven't seen GNR live is GO SEE THEM. You may not be a fan, you may prefer the original line up, but take a night off and just go enjoy a perfect 3h show! they will blow you way , nothing can prepare you for the passion and talent those guys have on stage!!!

Seeing izzy there was a bonus!

I will never forget this day although it was 4 months ago, it was the best night of my life (so far!) and I can remember every detail like it was yesterday. I have been a Guns n' Roses fan for years and was surprised when they announced their tour as I didn't think they would be coming here anytime soon.

The morning of the event we received an email warning us that the show was due to start and finish late. I was a bit concerned as I knew there was a possibility Axl could have a strop, (though I was actually a bit excited at the same time, though perhaps my view is biased as I actually LOVE him.)

Thin Lizzy, the support act, came on at 8:30, the doors opened at 6:30 and we were there at that precise time, so we had a lot of waiting to do. However, we were sitting so it wasn't so bad. We were in block L and had a fantastic view.

I thought Thin Lizzy were OK but I didn't know many of their songs, and I also felt they were on far too long for a support act, (1 and a half hours.) They came off at 10 and now we had a (supposedly) tedious wait for Gn'R.

After the stage was set up they came on immediately, at 10:30, so we only had a half an hour wait (considered early for Axl.) The first song they played was Chinese Democracy, which I am a huge fan of. Throughout the show Axl's voice was superb, he hit the high notes to perfection on songs such as Live and Let Die and Knockin' on Heaven's Door. He introduced the new band members to the audience and in my opinion, the new lineup DESTROYS the classic. Each member had a solo, my personal favourite was guitarist Richard Fortus's. However, I was a bit apprehensive Axl might stop the show and rant, as a few objects were getting thrown at the stage (something actually hit guitarist Bumblefoot, but Axl didn't notice - or chose not to. After all, he was in Glasgow!) But Rose was on his best behaviour all night and played a fantastic set - mainly songs from AFD, but there was some material from CD. There were pyrotechnics, explosions (Rose was DANCING) and at the very end during Paradise City a shower of confetti descended from above along with blazing lights and fireworks. It was a three hour set, and Axl left a few times for costume changes, but the rest of the band kept us entertained with instrumental jams.

All in all, it was a phenomenal night and I was utterly amazed. I hope they tour in the future as I will definitely be returning. It certainly lived up to (actually, surpassed) my high expectations. I would advise anyone to go, even if you are not a fan of Gn'R, as I assure you, you will leave being a fan. If you don't think anything can beat the classic lineup of Guns N' Roses, you will be surprised. Slash who?

Thin Lizzy absolutely rocked the stage
Guns N' Roses were the greatest I will never forget.
After all the bad press I didn't know what to expect, as Slash! wasn't there and half of the band had split up they were still amazing. The concert lasted for 3 hours and Axl was still himself playing November Rain on a grand piano, being a diva throwing the microphone across the stage dancing and letting his high notes out.
The new guitarist was amazing DjAshba the lead guitarist out of Sixx:AM.

There were fireworks all the way through, huge screen effects, big hits, guitar solos cameras on the people although they came on at half 11 it was well worth the wait, they finished at 3:30am

I wish I could relive that night again.

I've always dreamed of seeing Axl Rose sing live but I never believed my dream will come true. I got goosebumps when the lights went off and DJ Ashba appeared on stage...but when Axl appeared on stage I almost began to cry. I cannot fault Guns N' Roses' performance...It was absolutely brilliant!!!

After listening to others about never knowing what your going to get with Axl I wasn't sure how fantastic it was going to be, but I was totally blown away! His voice was perfect and his stage presence was top class, it was a fab set. in my opinion guns n roses are still the top band and I very much hope to see them again some time!

Unbelieveabe... A spectacular performance from the whole band, Axl Rose was spot on with the vocals, A great concert and an exceptionally great performance,
A must see concert and by must I mean must!!! Best concert I have ever been to.

Reading some of the reviews of the previous concerts, we were a little apprehensive about the concert. As everyone was slating the performance.
But we had nothing to worry about, they were a little late getting on but that was due to AXL having to go to hospital for a shoulder problem. They were on for over 2 hours and rocked every second.

10th time seeing GNR an possibly their best performance!!!! Seats were spot on and also got to meet Axl after the show. 3rd time seeing GNR at the M.E.N and it's my best venue for the acoustics ;) thanks for the autograph n picture Axl ;)

Having never been to see Guns N Roses before I was really looking forward to the event especially as I'd booked it as a birthday present for my boyfriend. However, in hindsight, I wished I'd have spent the money on a slap up meal instead as I was left very disappointed. Thin Lizzie who started the show were excellent but there was just under a 2 hour wait from when they left the stage to when Guns N Roses came out. The doors opened at 6.30pm so being an amateur at these things I didn't realise that the real show wouldn't begin until 10.45pm ish! The last train times had already been extended but at 12.45pm we had to get up and walk out of the show whilst it was in full swing in order to get home. I was so disappointed that after paying so much money I had to miss the last hour of the show as they played until just before 2pm. I think it's a total disregard to the fans who ultimately put them up on that stage to be so blase about starting an hour plus later than scheduled and the arragance of it all really spoilt the occasion. Would never attend another of their concerts again because of this.

Ok, the concert was 'good', Thin Lizzy came out first and even though we didnt go for them, we all thought they were very good and they got the crowd going..... then.... as we were all ready to continue the party. The wait started... two hours of just waiting, come on!!..

When they played Welcome to the Jungle some people at the front went mental and it seems they threw some beer to the stage or to Axl, (God forbid) he went: STOP!, the whole sound just went off.... it was amazing how quick the whole band stopped at the same time, i still wonder if they had a magic 'pause' button, but hey perhaps people wouldnt have been that drunk if they hadnt waited so long!?

Overall it was good... but we didnt appreciate the waiting, specially when we travelled from Manchester and needed to travel back afterwards.

Band did not bother to appear til gone 11pm . We missed most of this event as we would have had no way of getting home if we stayed. The band obviously hae no respect for their fans, there were a lot of dissapointed people there

I didn't enjoy the concert. I have never looked at my watch so many times. It didn't start until 10.50pm, I left just before 2am as I was worried about getting stuck in North Greenwich. I had to get a bus to Charlton station, which didn't leave until 2.35am. I got to London Bridge station at 3am, and after taking 3 night buses back to my car, I arrived home at 4.45am. Guns 'N Roses showed no respect to their fans by keeping us waiting so long to start the concert, and for it finally finishing around 2.15am, long after the underground had stopped running. If it wasn't for the O2 Arena arranging a train from Charlton station, I and most other fans would have found ourselves sleeping on the ground outside North Greenwich underground station waiting for it to open again at 5am. I saw Guns 'N Roses at Wembley Stadium years ago, which was a much better concert, again it finished late, but it was before the public transport stopped running, so everyone got home safely. Would I go and see them again? NO, NEVER!!!!

After reading some of the reviews on here i dont know what concert they went to. I went to the 02 at London on Friday 1 June, the show was brilliant. Thin Lizzy were brilliant, we had to wait a couple of hours for Guns N Roses to come on stage and when they did they were amazing. Axles voice still the same as it was, he was brilliant. He sung really good, it was worth the wait. We had quite good seats, so we could see the stage very well. Cant wait for them to come back to London

Would have been more beneficial if I had simply ripped up my hard earned cash into little pieces.
Massively dissapointed at the VERY late start and annoyed at the lack of presence on stage - no attmept to engage with the crowd - who were by this time all angry anyway and had to leave due to transport etc...
Only redeeming feture was Thin Lizzy whom I didnt even know anyway - who totally kicked it and were a real crowd pleaser.
Best bit of the night was deciding to leave before the set had ended - after all it was a work night, and being able to rest my ears which had been clogged up by a set of the 'newer' songs which could never be compared to the far superior 'older' stuff, the tinnatus which eventually stopped a day later because of the massively cranked up speaker system - which was made loud to drown out the noise of an angry crowd.
Really upsetting and would not even go again if I was given free tickets.
