The newly launched North Pier was a great venue with a fantastic atmosphere.

The two support acts performed well, but didn't blow the audience away. As Erasure took to the stage, the vast majority of the audience were on their feet and stayed standing, dancing and singing along right to the end. Vince and Andy could have gone on for another hour and still the audience would've wanted more.

After the show, Vince and Andy happily met, had photos taken with and autographed various things with fans for quite some time, though the security people didn't seem overly impressed with this.

The gig was amazing. Old songs and new were delivered without annoying breaks, which so many acts seem to do. The boys sounded just as good as when I last saw them (about 10 years ago!) I was there with my sister and a friend, and they enjoyed it just as much.

Didn't like the venue, though.

Favourite moment: Naturally the hits but also the less well known album tracks for us die hard fans: Solo Luminus and the acoustic version of Alien for example. @

Setlist: A great mix of both hits and less well known songs. Breathe always makes me cry! The tracks from the new album were also impressive live (although Andy had the words to one of the songs on a piece of paper whilst singing it (LOL!) @

Opening act(s): LOVED Frankmusik (and have ordered their album as a result)! Think about ditching the T-Shirt though and look like you've made a bit of an effort!! She looked FAB though... @

I enjoyed every minute and my feet were killing me at the end of the show. The stage set up was spookily fantastic and sound was brill! Andy Bell and Vince Clarke were just as good as remembered even more so. Andy flexed muscles and strutted round the stage and was just brilliant! Most enjoyable best 'dancey' concert been to in ages!

The gig was intimate and andy bells voice was spot on with new and old material alike.Vince Clarkes synth pop and electric guitar playing rocked the house.you would have to go some to beet the atmosphire of this gig for sure! A night to remember !

Wow very impressed - Blackpool Pier was an excellant venue never been before but would definately go again.
Erasure were brilliant !!! The crowd enjoyed every minute and has a huge fan base was good to see how well they were and still going strong. All the old favourites Ship of Fools etc really really enjoyed !!!!

Two very good backing groups that i'm sure we'll be seeing in the very near future !!!

What a fantastic night! Andy Bell and Vince Clarke had the crowd in the palm of their hands with a string of classics, mixed with some of their songs from their new album. Songs like 'Sometimes', 'Respect' and 'Stop' had everyone up on their feet and dancing from the very first note. Not a bad song among their set, so much so that the majority of the crowd probably had sore throats from belting out the tunes. Even if you're not a fan of Erasure, get yourself along to their next gig, what a brilliant night out.

Absolutely fantastic!!!!! Ive been to see Pink, lady gaga, etc and this concert was up there with the best.Without having to have any fancy over the top stage set.Its all about the music & Vince and Andy are still showing they are a power to reckon with even after 25 years. Andys voice NEVER faltered and his interaction with the crowd was the best. Ticket price were not Expensive like other stars to pay for the over the top stage set.The age range was really mixed,everyone was dancing even the youngsters were dancing away so go to show. Its STARS like this that should be judging Xfactor as they know thier trade.THANKS Erasure for a FAB nite,CANT wait for your next tour.Worth every penny if not more

There were two tribute acts before Erasure came on. They were good and set the scene for the night. Erasure came on and the room lit up!. They were amazing and brilliant.
Had a really great night. They performed there new single and then all the golden oldies. Would recommend to anyone who enjoyed/ enjoys their music. They were some true hardened fans who clearly followed them round as they were allowed to approach the stage but others were kept away. Did not take away from the night though. No pictures taken as the venue did not allow them.

Although have their albums , first time to see them live. Just amazing , quality of the singing and music was studio like. Andy Bell never stopped. Would have liked them to have been on another half hour ( only on for 60 mins).

ERASURE WERE FANTASTIC, IT HAS TO BE THE BEST CONCERT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO, NOBODY SAT DOWN ALL NIGHT, EVERYBODY WAS UP AND DANCING AND SINGING, IT IS A MUST SEE FOR ALL ERASURE FANS. HE SANG LOADS OF HIS OLD HITS AND SOME NEW ONES, JUST AMAZING.
