The band were great. The sound was at least as good as on the records. The level of comfort, and thus the overall enjoyment of the event would have been better if the MEN Arena had run the air conditioning more frequently than they did. Everyone near us was very hot.

We spent an unforgetable evening at the Birmingham NIA watching, listening and joining in with so many familiar and new songs from The Eagles. It is impossible to have a favourite member as they all have unique voices and have to be the most talented group of guys anyone could every wish to see and hear. Together with their amazing backing group we could have stayed and rocked away to them all night long!
We have seen many live artists including Elton John, Neil Diamond, The Stones, Bryan Adams, Fleetwood Mac and so forth, but this is the best concert of all time - loved it!!!

I was worried that the tickets were a bit expensive, but not at all! Excellent value for money. They played for about two and half hours in total (plus an interval), and I was honestly transfixed throughout. There was a great mix of upbeat numbers and the slow, glorious harmonies we love them all for. The mix of era's was great in terms of most of the songs from the new album, a couple off the older ones and even solo work. I would have liked more from Hotel California, but it didn't spoil it as with such an impressive back catalogue, somethings gotta give after all. The backdrop was a collection of slideshows mainly, of american images. It was really effective and seemed well chosen for the music. The harmonies were simply out of this world, and the chat was kept, short and personable. Every single musician on the stage was nothing short of outstanding, and the way they all complement and blend with one another.....indescribably good!

Well, where do I start, I saw them 7 times this year. Dublin, Birmingham both nights, Manchester both nights, Lisbon, Portugal and Madrid, Spain and every single night they were on top form and absolutely fantastic.
The music, the singing, AND the audience interaction just can't be beaten.
The venues were really great too, considering I had a bad experience at one of the venues when I saw Bryan Adams last year, but this year, they were fantastic.
This takes the total number of times seeing them up to 10 overall and I will gladly travel anywhere in the world to see them.
I even took my sister and my dad to see them at a show each, and they really really enjoyed themselves too, considering they are not huge fans like I am.
I even made friends with the people I was sitting next to and now email them regularly.
I had never done a standing show for the Eagles and had standing tix for the madrid and portugal shows, and I never expected in my wildest dreams the get the very frontrow in Portugal in front of my fave Eagle. And to top it all off, it was his birthday and I had done a happy birthday banner and he gave me a little thank you present for it too.!!
If they come to a venue near you, it is a MUST that you go and see them.
I will be doing as many shows as possible again next year.

The Eagles were the first band I've ever seen live and they are seriously going to be a hard act to follow! Our evening at the NIA in Birmingham was brilliant and the atmosphere was buzzing. There was such a diversity of people there watching, its hard to imagine sometimes how people cannot like the Eagles! We were sat between a couple celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary, and a family with 2 young children, but both had an equally good time.
I would definitely go to see the Eagles again, and reccommend anyone to watch them! They are all such unique characters and voices, its hard to choose a favourite member or song - they were all much better [I felt] than the recording that we are all used to!
Eagles forever!!

From start to finish, The Eagles were outstanding. As good as (or possibly even better than) we had hoped for. These guys are all how could i say (slightly older than the norm that plays these days). Yet so many of the newer bands could take a leaf out of there chilled approach to playing and singing quality sounds that have lasted thirty odd years and will still be getting played by new audiences years from now (I am not old enough to remember them first time around)

Sometimes when you wait a long time and/or look forward to something too much it can be disappointing. Not so with the Eagles. They were better than I thought possible and everything that was wanted of them they delivered in spades.
From the opening "How Long" to the finale of "Desperado" I was completely in awe and even now cannot believe just how good they actually were. For nearly three hours they belted out hit after hit,the instruments were played to perfection and the harmonies were out of this world, all supported by the best group of backing musicians you would find.
Individual brilliance,collective genius.

What a shame that a fantastic band like the eagles was ruined by a very poor sound that echoed and got trapped within the stadium roof. It ruined the whole evening. The speakers were to close to the stadium cover, surely the sound staff must have noticed that? You never saw crew going about checking once the concert had started (this also applies to Paul Carrick).
If any of the Eagles spoke well you could forget what they said as it was just inaudible with the sound bouncing in a hundred different directions.
Maybe Hampden is not the best stadium for them to play

As the title says, absolutely awesome! I've got most of their albums but hearing them live and actually seeing them on stage was just something else. Their singing and harmonies were phenomenal and they sounded just as they do on cd. Even my wife, who wasn't looking forward to the gig, enjoyed it (and she pretty much hates my taste in music). That's how good they were.
Will definitely be going to see them again. They are truly living legends!!!

Came to Manchester the day before the event, finding out where the venue was. Great expectations to what we were going to experience. Being the first time to see the Eagles live, the fact that the playing skills were that high class, was amazing.
The only thing with a minus was a part of the sound mix. Most of the concert I was unable to hear the bass guitar''s notes. Mixed together with the bass drum frequencies, it somehow sounded more like two bass drums.
Vocals and guitars: Exellent sound!

I saw these guys play Murrayfield in Edinburgh in the 1990s but at Hampden 0n 4th July they were terrific and it was a much better show than Murrayfield. Evidently they continue to improve with age. Keep on guys!
