Waited so long for this concert, worried it may never happen after the cancellations earlier in the year, the concerns over Dave's on going health issues.
Would they still have that stage presence that blew me away several years ago !!!
I need not have worried, from the moment Dave walked on the stage and bowed to the audience, until the final song, They totally owned the O2 stage. The marvellous location was filled with the throbbing drum beats and Martins guitar, sending waves of music through your whole body.Watching dave throw himself round the stage with energy i can only remember having, was emotional. Their songs touch so many people for so many reasons, the pleasure and emotion was etched across faces as far as i could see. The hard core Mode fans , singing every word , knowing every dance was fantastic. It was so great to see so many people there showing their appreciation to a Band , which through the history of music has not received the recognition it deserves.
Here's to Depeche Mode , long may they keep making and performing songs which touch people in a way like no other.

I flew in from Miami, Florida USA for this event. Depeche Mode has been my favorite band since 1984. I saw them 3 times in the US on the SOTU tour and when I received the pre sale email for the RAH event...that was it! I have always dreamed of seeing DM in their native England and gladly wanted to be a part of the TCT benefit. From the balloons in Policy of Truth to Alan Wilder performing, it was more interactive then any other DM concert I have attended and this one was my 11th one over the years. AMAZING! I was able to mark one off my Bucket List. THANKS Depeche!

The venue and sound quality were amazing. Almost 30 years performing together and they just get better and better. Fantastic songs new and old, great audience participation and of course Dave is one of the best front men, if not the best front man in the business. They could have played all night and I still wouldn't have wanted it to end and of course the cherry on the cake was seeing Alan wilder back on stage with the band after 16 years. Managed to see them 4 times on this tour and can't wait for the next one. If you haven't seen them before, get yourself to the next tour and see what your missing because you 'just can't get enough' of the Mode. Amazing, brilliant, they 'make my heart smile!

Unforgettable historic night! To see Depeche Mode play in such an exquisite venue for a wonderful charity was beyond expectations. But then the stringed instruments came out for "One Caress," and I thought I had slipped into a dream state. The sound throughout the show was impeccable, the band in absolute top form and great spirits, and the multi-national crowd brought a worthy enthusiasm. Then.... the encore heard round the world - Alan Wilder walks onstage to play 'Somebody' with Martin Gore. True, it was beautiful - true, it was history. Overall, however, it was but one shining moment in a tour of countless shining moments. Martin, Dave, Andy, Christian, and Peter deliver a performance that is nearly impossible to match. I'm already looking forward to the next tour.

Depeche Mode are one of those bands that have to be seen. They have so many classic songs and are loved by a wide variety of people with all sorts of tastes. They just reach out to everyone... almost! The show was great. Some obvious songs, some not so obvious songs, some songs that they have to miss out (well they're not going to play for ten hours)... Just an all-out great show that I attended.

No words can explain the experience. I have seen DM live on every tour since 1986 and this was on equal pegging with Crystal Palace 1993. The fact Alan Wilder was on stage and seen to embrace martin and Fletch saw what was always felt to be a 16 year rift between them healed. Unforgettable. On a side note, the concert itself was quite atonishing!!!
Buy the concert downloads. its a worthwhile cause.
i will now die a happy man!!

I was blown away by the combination of tender emotion and driving rhythm pumped around the beautiful dome of the Royal Albert Hall.
The visuals were stunning, and the infectious joy of the fans overwhleming, especially when Alan Wilder appeared on the DM stage for the first time in 16 years.
A knockout gig

Our second concert of this tour, and what a special night it was!!
Not only a great gig for a great cause, but the whole night, from the enthusiasm of the crowd to the set, the additional guest string section, and ALAN WILDER making a cameo made it stand out from previous shows over the years.
Depeche Mode, although not universally acknowledged, are a consistent and hard working band. After such a long tour, and Dave's ill-health along the way, they could be forgiven for being a little jaded, but, I am pleased to day this night was a triumph!!
Please tell me there'll be a DVD out there of this show - I would readily live through it again!

Amazing Venue, so small and intimate its almost like having the gig in your living room.
Depeche Mode are amazing, fill the hall with such a vibe. 30 years of fantastic music and an incredible stage presence. Pretty much have to say best gig I have ever been to and I have been to a lot, forget your arena gigs, if there is any band you want to see and they are playing at the R.A.H. buy your tickets as soon as you see them, you won't be disappointed!

I was on the floor standing and had a great view of the whole event. I came all the way from Orange County California to be a part of this historic event and enjoyed EVERY MINUTE OF IT! Alan Wilder's surprise appearance, Martin's solos with the string quartet, Fletch holding that inflatable banana, and Dave....I swoon everytime I see Dave dance, but to see him that close was mesmerizing. A great night thanks to the fans and their signs, and BALLOONS! LOL! The venue was even more awesome, so thank you to Teenage Cancer Trust and Depeche Mode for an unforgettable night/trip to England!

The Venue The Albert Hall was totally amazing, and the sound was fantastic from start to finish. The band showed why they are one of the best live acts in the world, with a great mix of classic songs and new tunes from the latest album. The fans sang along to all the songs and were dancing in the isles. Front man Dave Gahan had everyone spellbound with his dance moves and stage presence, the bands drummer thundered through the songs giving even more energy to the songs. Martin Gore solo songs with the live orchestra suited the venue perfectly. Fletch and Peter also performed admirally, the night was truely out of this universe.
