The downside of the concert was that it started earlier than it was supposed to, I was there shortly past 6:30 and Trigger the Bloodshed was already playing, so sadly I only saw their last couple of songs. Hard to tell though how much I missed cause the second band, Annotations of an Autopsy played a very short set too. Trigger the Bloodshed was amazing, very tight, very fast, very engergized, technical death metal at its best. AOAA was slower and I didn't like them too much. Dying Fetus were very good too, some new stuff, some old material, they function very well as a 3-piece on the level of musicianship they have achieved, nice gig, nice moshpit. Cannibal Corpse somehow just keeps getting better every time, the Grinder was in good mood and I think they played at least 18 songs or so, at least I remember 18. It didn't feel like 18 though, for my taste it was over too fast. With solid set made up of old and new material and almost all the fan favourites they knew how to please the crowd. Talking about the crowd, being into Death Metal for something about 17 years it's on the one hand nice to see that this kind of music still draws a lot of younger fans but damn, it makes you feel so old. The one day you are 14 and listening to the Tomb of the Mutilated that just came out and the next day you are over 30 and the kids at the concert give you that sad "what's grandpa doing here, is he watching his grandkids" look.
