Debbie can still hold a tune at 78 years of age. She brought a bit of old-style movie glamour to a cold and grey London, singing some wonderful songs, telling interesting stories about her time with MGM and Universal, and also doing a cracking impersonation of Barbra Streisand!

Debbie Reynolds was what I expected - a born entertainer full of stories and song. What I wasn't expecting was how outrageously funny she is and what a great mimic. Thanks for a great evening, Debbie and thanks to her multi-talented band. My only criticism - more stories and film clips!

I chose this as my 'birthday' treat and I was not disappointed. Bearing in mind her age, her voice was remarkably strong and got stronger as the show progressed. For those of us who were wallowing in nostalgia she came up trumps. Gently sending herself up, giving us some terrific impressions - her Ethel Merman was fantastic - and interspersing stories of the Hollywood greats with some classic songs. It was a wonderful show and enjoyed by a very appreciative audience - not all of whom were over 60! She certainly deserved the standing ovation she got at the Saturday matinee. (Her pianist and drummer also deserve plaudits - great accompaniment without drowning her out.) She has a warm personality and a natural rapport with the audience. I could have listened to her all day and night. Wonderful!

If you are a fan of the old MGM musicals this is a not-to -be missed evening.At 79 she is aglamorous,bubbly lady who obviously just loves performing. Her voice is not the greatest now but she is a great comedienne and did some brilliant take-offs of the old film stars. Video clips brought back memories of classic films.

Just came back from Debbie's show and she was just brilliant. Everything she did was wonderful... the audience loved her and standing ovation, of course. What an amazing woman. Humorous, witty, organic, charming, moving, touching emotionally charged, nostalgic without being gushy, a genuinely entertaining lady. She should be treasured as they don't come as great as this anymore. Will try to see the show again, that is if I can get tickets. Debbie is brilliant at improv style and had the audience laughing and crying with joy. A professional trouper I hope will be around for many more years to come.

I last saw Debbie Reynolds some 30+ years ago in London with my parents, so wasn't sure what to expect this time round now that she, and I, are that much older, but it was a true 'variety' act. She was funny, entertaining, can certainly still hold a tune, and reference to her countless movie appearances via large overhead TV screen was a reminder of what an 'all rounder' she was back in the heady Hollywood days, when musicals were big box office business. Debbie asked if there was anyone in the audience "under 50" because she thought anyone under that age would probably not even have heard of her. She was ably accompanied on piano, drums and bass and the whole experience was very enjoyable. Glad I went along!

I don't know what to make of the show - half of me felt quite uncomfortable because of debbie's references to still being here and not knowing how long she had left whilst the other half of me was in awe of seeing a hollywood legend. Her singing was flat in places and she forgot a lot of her lyrics. There were some uncomfortable moments where she cracked some bizarre jokes. However, her enthusiasm and stamina at her age were awesome. Her stories from showbiz and the mini- montage of her films were fascinating. She created fantastic rapport with the audience who couldn't get enough. She came to sign autographs and take photos at the end of the show - she seemed exhausted and totally out of it. However her dedication to her fans despite her fatigue just confirmed what a rare gem she truly is!

Brilliant to see Debbie live, a pin up from the past (we are similar ages). Entertainment at it's best. A great show and thoroughly recommended. Just one problem, no keepsake programs available, apparently all sold out the day before which was dissappointing.
