Had such a brilliant time from start to finish - Venue was great, atmosphere was like you were actually in Rio De Janiero lapping up the carnival atmosphere.
Sergio and his band were amazing - will definitely look out for him again

I have always liked Sergio Mendes as an artist, but had never seen him perform live. I was not disappointed. He had a good support band with good singers, played some classics; Girl from Ipanema, Magalenha and Berimbau and upbeat versions of other classics Samba da Bencao and Mas Que Nada being a couple of them. Would definitely go and see him again. The venue was not overcrowded but I am sure will be next time if he ever returns to the indigo O2, through word of mouth.
One downer though: The DJ did not do enough to warm the crowd up. Found him a bit
boring because he did not play any upbeat bossa or samba beats.

Mustn't complain though . Sergio made up for the DJs deficiency! A Good Nite Was Had.

It was far too short! He came on after 8:30pm and the last number was before 9:45pm! Very disappointing - very poor value for money. When he played it was very good but to play for a little over an hour is ridiculous for a guy that has 50 years of material - what you would expect of an amateur pub band who only had time to rehearse a few numbers.

Brazilian music is just the best and Sergio brought finally sunshine to London on Saturday night. Brilliant Samba and Bossa Nova music with pre concert Sambistas, DJ and great other singers. He was and is a great artist - I can only say - Mas Que Nada! So keep bringing more Brazilian artists and events to London!

The night was wonderful. DJ until Sergio Mendes came on then DJ for 90 minutes or so after the concert. The music was superb. My wife and I danced the night away.
