I have loved Carlene and her music for about 15 years now.

I've missed her music for the past few years so was delighted when she released her new CD, never thinking I would ever get the chance to see her live.

The moment I saw the ad for this gig I booked straight away, getting ticket #s 6 & 7!

The show was simple and intimate, which was everything it needed to be.

Carlene has such a warm personality and a great sense of humour.

Whether she was singing or talking to the crowd, the whole show was a sheer delight.

This lady has had some really hard times in her life but has come through smiling, laughing, joking, and singing and song writing better than ever.

At the end of the show she said she's like to come and meet some of her fans, if we wanted to wait behind. I jumped at the chance.

After a bit of a queue, watching Carlene warmly greet and thank the other fans, my friend and I were greeted with Carlene jumping up, exclaiming "My boys!" and giving us a huge hug across the table!

As it turns out, Carlene had seen my friend I at the front of the show, me singing away word for word each song, and my friend bopping to the catchy beats of the songs (he had not listened to her music before...but has listened to a lot since!).

She thanked us both for getting in to it so much and for encouraging her with our supportive smiles and clear enjoyment of her performance. This shocked us both - why should she be thanking us when she is the one who has just put on such an amazing show?! What an incredibly humble and lovely lady she is!

I would recommend Carlene, her music and her shows to anyone. This was possibly the fastest 2 hours of my life, and something I will remember and treasure forever.

Come back soon Carlene - we love you!

Support duo was very good didn't catch there name!! (sorry) What a strong voice Carlene has and interacted really good with the crowd, interesting hearing snippets about her family she sung some well known as well as new stuff we will be back to see her if and when she returns, brilliant night.

GROTTY VENUE - DIRTY GRUBBY NOT ENOUGHS SEATS - FOURTH RATE
PITY AS THAT WAS THE ONLY DOWNSIDE TO THIS FANTASTIC SHOW - CARLENE CARTER STILL HAS THE FIRE IN HER BELLY AND THE VOICE OF A TRUE COUNTRY PROFESSIONAL. SHE WAS A DELIGHT AS A PERSON - A REAL PERSON AT THAT - NO FAKERY OR YAMKIE BLUSTER - NO CONCEIT - HE VOICE IS SO CLEAR AND HER SONGS AND LYRICS ARE SO TOUCHING - SHE IS A TRUE PROFESSIONAL AND VERY TALENTED.

An Excellent evening in great comfort and acoustics. I would recommend this location to our friends. Carlene Carter was superb and excelled with her music and songs.

I did not have great expectations, but the show was fantastic. Carlene was dynamite - with her rambling intro's and her crisp clear but powerful voice was amazing. I was left feeling like she was a bundle of talent. It was probably one of the best shows of this type I have been to. Her "band" Mike was incredible - and although he looked a little dozy and like a member of the Johnathan Creek fan club - he was a very, very talented guy. The chemistry between Carlene and Mike was just lovely. The only downside was the shabby, shambolic set up at the Cavern, broken lights, not enough seats, inaccessible ladies room, sticky floor and generally dirty, grubby & shabby. The staff should have bneen ashamed of themselves - having an international superstar on their stage and not bothering to clean-up or set up.
Great evening - Great performer.
