Absolutely brill still has thee most beautiful voice and played a catalogue of favourites getting the crowd warmed up for the finally Rhinestone Cowboy brilliant night out super value for money.

I was concerned he may have lost it a little but no Glen was great to hear and see. i know he's unwell and even allowing for that he still had the old magic, perhaps not shining through but there none the less, its such a shame we will not see him perform live anymore but best to go out on a high and he did that with the support of his amazingly talented children.

Nobody expected Glen Campbell to be as slick as he was in the past, but few would have expected the wonderful feeling of warmth and love between Glen and his family and friends that gave us the opportunity to celebrate his talent and to feel joy at his legacy - not only his songs, but the beautiful young people who supported him. What a wonderful experience to have shared - to support your father and friend to say goodbye. I felt the audience appreciated what both Glen and his family and friends achieved - a celebration of life!

I took my mother and father to see Glan for their 70th Birthdays and what a treat. Two hours of music and as to be expected all of the great clasics, It was not only a thrill to hear these songs live as I have been brought up with Glen Cmpbell but to see both mum and dad singing along to nearly all of the tracks played.

The Glen Campbell show in The Music Hall showed both that 'The Rhinestone Cowboy' has still got what it takes but is probably doing the sensible thing making it his farewell tour given his Alzheimers condition. His voice is almost as strong as ever and he's still a great guitar player with an awesome back catalogue.

Backing band which included two of his sons and a daughter were excellent and the love they had for their dad and the pride at his performance was moving to say the least. He performed old and new songs and the only downside was it wasn't as long a set as everyone would have wanted. He had to use the autocue a lot but you had to admire the great delivery of some fantastic songs. His lyrics are so poignant and relevant. Catch him if you can.

What a wonderful concert to end Glen's touring. His backing band ( with family, Debby, Ashley, Cal & Shannon Campbell) + Ziggy from Oslo were a perfect way to end a glorious career. My wife and I, first saw his first concert in Scotland, 40 years ago @ Green's Playhouse ( aka The Apollo) in Glasgow. It was fitting we were there a his last in Aberdeen. Glen Campbell still had the stage presence & class to leave us with lovely memories of his stature in country music. A standing ovation & a few tears were shed at the end. Thanks you Glen Campbell for all my LP's CD's etc etc. the night closed with us all meeting his family ( the band members, as above). the are quite good musicians who may get to the first rung of the ladder to fame, Lovely persons, Good luck to you all,but a long peaceful retirement. Our Mother had dementia, so we know what it like.

So glad I got the chance to see Glen Campbell live. His voice is still as wonderful as it always was and he enthralled the audience with impressive renditions of both old favourites and new songs. His family (also talented musicians) were on stage to support him which was touching and added to the overall enjoyment of the evening.

Glen Campbell was magical. His voice still full of expression. I was moved to tears and laughing out loud. An unforgettable performance. So glad I was there.

Went to see Glen Campbell in Northampton a few weeks back. He played to a full house at the Derngate Theatre and really did himself and the backing band (consisting of a few family members) proud. It was obvious that his illness was having a bit of an affect on his performance - ie having to constantly watch the on-stage monitors for words, and on a few occasions his family members prompted him regarding tuning his guitar for the next song - but apart from that he really did give a great concert. His voice was as good as ever and the choice of songs was just right.

The standing ovation at the end was a fitting end to this concert - and a fond farewell to someone I (and many others in the crowd) consider a musical legend.
