Great to see them home in Scotland for their annual Christmas bash. Straight from the opening chords of Painted Moon the Guys were back at their best.
Jimmy seemed to be thoroughly enjoying himself which made him really energetic on stage.
Shame there was no Steve Kane on keys but Milla made up for it with her Violin.

Been a few years since I saw them, but seems like it was only yesterday.
From Painted Moon through I Can Feel It and Bulletproof Heart was Excellent.
Only downside was a tad too loud for a small venue like Oran Mor, ears still ringing.
Also a cameo appearance from JJ Gilmour would have been the icing on the cake.

Not really a concert, just an annual Christmas party for the faithful. Once again a chance to sing your heart out to a superb back catalogue of memorable songs.
Wonderful fiddle playing from Milla was the icing on the cake. Nearly 2 hours of non stop fautless classic Silencers, what more can I say except Thankyou!

The Silencers at Oran Mor have become a must see part of the Christmas festivities. Last year's gig was amazing and one of the best I have ever seen, this year's was even better.

2 hours non stop Silencers magic. Opened with the classic Painted Moon and rocked through outstanding back catalogue, great atmosphere, wonderful experience just to be there.

Also lucky to discover new Glasgow duo, Martin and James who were absolutely brilliant in support.

What do they have to do to get the recognition they deserve, one of the best live bands
out of Scotland ever. In fact I would be them up there with SAHB and nobody else gets
close, next time and hopefully it wont be until next Christmas do your self a turn
and go and see the best Scottish live act in the World today.

Great atmosphere from the usual died in the wool Silencer fans. The band stuck rigidly to playing "oldies" which was exactly what we wanted - thankyou.
Loved the fiddle playing by Milla, an inspired addition on the night. Well done to the brass section from A Wooden Box with ........ You guys did a really great job. I saw you in Kilmarnock this year and really enjoyed your set.
Overall an evening of pure self indulgence, and great for the soul.

Hope to repeat it next year.

Great to see them back again (well Jimme anyway) and playing a top, well put together set with all the favourites in there.

Usual good sound, musicianship and quality songs from one of Scotland's most under-rated and less commercially successful bands. It's a shame they've never got the recognition that they so richly deserved...

And they all seemed to be enjoying it....which spread to the audience as well.
