This was a thoroughly enjoyable show which was spoiled by us not being able to hear the actors properly. I don't know if the venue was just too large or there were other production issues. It was such a shame. If we hadn't seen the film, I think we would have missed the plot completely

This was truly the most laughing myself and 3 friends have had!!! From start to finish made our trip to Dublin even more unforgettable The cast had a brilliant sense of humour and their bodies wern't half bad either!!!
Much better than we ever thought it could be

what a fantastic performance,we booked for my daughters birthday and we all loved the show. a lot of laughs muchbetter than i expected.we booked a pizza next door as a theatre special was advertised in the programme however we had to speak to 4 different people at ceasars before they would honour the half page add from the programme the best bit was as we attended the matinee the full cast came in for tea ! now thats what i call a theatre special !!!!

A great british comedy turned into a run of the mill american musical. It has it's moments, but the accents, faux american, spoiled it for me. An extra star would have been given had yorkshire accents featured. Did we really need to turn this into a piece of americana?

Bought a tickets for me and my friend to see Full Monty in York Grand Opera Theatre. I saw the advert in one of the programme I bought to see a show and it looks fun and interesting.. We weren't dissapointed- The show is witty and a great cast made the show very entertaining and fun!

I took my elderly mum and aunt to see and we all had a thoroughly
entertaining and uplifting afternoon.
The actors chosen to play each part were superb.
If this came back I would gladly go and see it again.

An amateur York Musical production of the American version of the Full Monty was staged at York Theater.
Including swearing, and the inevitable Full Male Frontal, the production was really excellent! With stand out merits going to the blonde best mate, the little boy, and the smokin' piano playin harpee! All brill! (You can tell I didn't get a prog', no names!).
The American stage version at first seems VERY different from the UK film...... but it isn't. As the thing moves on, you see all the ways the two meet, and when you get to the final "BANG", as it were, you're really feeling like these guys were apart, but now they're a team, and about to thrill the LADEEEES!
I'm a guy, who went with my girl-friend, and hey! The guys are missing out! It was fantastic fun for male and female alike!
Go see, ENJOY!

Very good, as you can expect mostly women in the audience, and i have to say the actors are very brave, as they seemed in danger of getting mobbed at some points! It was nice that the actors seemed to enjoy doing the show, rather than just going through the motions.

Great American interpretation. Excellent singing from individuals of unfamiliar songs but the lyrics went along with the story. The performance really made the weekend in York with friends thoroughly enjoying the sat matinee.
