Top entertainers! nothing I have seen compares to them and as they are my favorate band, it just adds to the amaizingness! I enjoyed every second of it, Wayne gets the crowd involved by having them mosh together and salutes Islington with shots almost every theough minutes. Waynes static is amaizing! Along with the rest of the band Koichi Fukuda Tony Campos and Nick Oshiro. I certanley cannot wait until the next time Static X storm England!!! If I have to I will go to America to see them again!!!! The only down side is that I lost my phone whilst moshing, I think it was pinched on purpose and it kinda ruined my night as i could not stop thinking about who had it and was really upset, kinda kicking myself for it now though as I should have paid more attention to the band!

Well, where do i start? Originally planned to go to this gig with some southern mates, but ended up dragging my best mate tom all the way to london. We live about 3 hours away and all i can say, it was worth the long journey. The venue had amazing sound quality due to the amount of equipment and the fact the floor was solid, i was in awe to just the music they were playing before the gig actually started! The defiled were first, and emo grunge band, even though i had never heard of them, they were certainly crowd pleasers and gave full respect to the fact 90% of the people at the venue hadn't actually come to see them. Which is rare but very nice for them to realise. Static x made an excellent entrance onto the stage, for me it was a special moment as i have not seen this band for about 3 years. Almost with little effort they got straight into it, playing Lunatic and Stingwray and some old classics such as the only, which is my favourite song. They paused to congratulate the crowd as the whole venue seemed to be taken over in a wave of moshing, windmilling, and jumping. It must of looked like a sea the way people were moving. Water was handed out quite frequently to the front row people, to which i was one. It was needed as it got very warm in the gig. I was left hyper speechless and exhilarated by this gig and it left me with a hunger for more.......

very small venue- which static made feel so alive - Was so awesome to hear so much older stuff from them, especially from their 1st album (wisconsin) - All eyes were focused on wayne, due to his legendary hair!!!!!
the support band were also of a good quality (i like it when there is only 1 support band)
Wayne said that static would be back - i really hope this true!

A small venue meant that you got the feeling of an 'up close and personal' session with Static-X.
The acoustics were impressive, the crowd vibe was awesome and Wayne as always, has the power in his voice that could possibly bring a small 3rd world country to its knees.
I would like to see Static-X fill a bigger venue in future, as they do in the U.S, but hopefully that will come in time.
