Ugly Duckling showed up with one intent: to have as much fun as possible. Their enthusiasm was totally infectious and the (small-ish) crowd took no time to warm up to their unique style of messing around on stage with music, samples and lyrics. I grinned ear-to-ear for the entire gig and their skit before "Honey" was awesome :-)
Einstein, Dizzy and Andy were great entertainment start to finish, and their music perfect for getting everyone moving, yelling, interacting and laughing. Awesome!
A shout-out to one of the support acts too, Big Taj, who did an awesome beatbox earlier in the night.

This was the first time I've seen these guys live, and I could not believe how good they were. The MC-ing was brilliant, which was great to see in a place like the Jazz Cafe. The guys are really energetic really pull off the whole package.
I will definitely go see them again.

Before the concert, I just listened to few songs of ugly duckling.
Music was good but the concert was amazing: Good energy, fun, confidence, nice warm up, unusual venue (Thekla was a boat)
One word: Great!
