I listen Cypress Hill since i was 14( im31now) & only now could see them Live. They r really great! All what i expected! Vibrant! The old good songs were great, bringing back those good young memories! I loved it!!!!
Would certaily attend again!!!
The only bad point was the delay to start... Door opened at 7pm, there was a Dj playing for 2 hours. Quite boring! And the show only finally started at 9pm! It was a bit dissapointing on this way, because i was rushing to be there on time but if it was stated that they would perform from 9pm onwards then i would have set up my time in another way.
Apart feom that all great!
The show house was perfect for the event! U could feel close to the stafe from any point!
I was on the balcony, seated which was also great!
Will never forget!!!

I thort cypress hill was really cool and the atmosphere was very high indeed :) BUT what is it with the warm up dj, no way did it warm u up just bore u to hell. Like come on I only wanted to see cypress hill play and they didn't start playing till 9 ish and the gig started at 7 and the worse thing for me was I had to get a train back at 10 so only saw an hour of them playing but the hour I saw was amazing.

great atmosphere on the forum, with a full house and a classic hiphop band to bring on the noise. the venue delivers, with good acoustics and the view from the balcony was pretty good. Cypress played the usual hits with tequila sunrise, insane in the membrane and superstar among the favourites. they really gave a good show, connecting with the audience and in the last song DJ muggs even tried some crowd surfing which was pretty cool. great show!! shame hiphop nowadays is not up to this standards...

Love this venue, compact but not too small. Cypress Hill had it totally right on the night played some old stuff and some new - good mixture. They kept the crowd going and cranked it up as the night went on.

Sound system was too loud couldn't hear mc & the drummer/bongo player was so out of time it was a joke!!! The security in the upper area were too strict shining their torches every 5 minutes because someone dared to dance!! Cypress hill class act, but show was ruined!!!

Cypress Hill have been going for over 20 years. I first saw them when they came over with Funkdoobiest, and House of Pain years ago. They where good then and they are even better now.

Having always been labelled as 'alternative' they have moved their show away from the basic hip hop live performance of two turntables and some microphones and become more dynamic because of this.

They rocked the crowd from beginning to end, all the big hits where played as well as stuff from the first album which I ain't heard in a while. There was an amazing atmosphere inside Brixton that night it took me back to hip hops golden era, I have never sweated so much at a gig and I was standing still.

At one point I even came close to jumping up and down and I never do that at rap gigs. Ok, well I did when they where at Reading all them years ago.

If you get a chance, go and see them, you will end up being a fan.

Awesome performance from the Hill! Brilliant from start to finish. Particularly liked the way that kept switching from their classics to tracks from their new album, 'Rise Up'.
For the ones that have never seen them performing live, this is a must, try get tickets to one of their upcoming concerts.

i would definitely recommend this to every one i meet, the people were friendly and sweaty, the drink was cheap enough and easy to come by.. cypress hill were imprinted in my memory till the very end and i defo wanna see again, right away please !!!!

this was the hottest place on the erth that night, not that cypress were rpping it up particularly well but more because the o2 academy staff had not turned on their air con thats if they even have it which if they dont there idiots for not having!!! besides the sweltering discomfort i endured throughout i would have to say i enjoyed cypress hill as much as i could have enjoyed an ageing rap duo and there questionable sidekicks, well done cypress next time do an open air event and you'll have a much hapier and higher audience!

Going for nearly 20 years cypress hill proved that the can still put on an excellent show. Started off with some older stuff and the place erupted when insane in the brain came on.

New stuff was good and ended perfectly with (Rap) Superstar.

Doors opened for 7pm. Security was thorough but thats cool, nice and safe! Got right to the front barrier straight away and waited patiently for the legends to hit the stage. The supporting band were awesome and got the place heated up nicely with some wicked takes on a Reggae & Ska type sounds. The place was jumping when Cypress Hill came on stage with a mix of all the old classics. Awesome! The crowd were going mental, as was I. A totally fantastic night, and when it was over we got outside and waited out for the Legends to sign our tickets. It was an hours wait before our tickets were signed and photo's taken, but hell it was worth it, and worth every penny. In a Nutshell, Cypress Hill are the Dawgs gonads dipped in chocolate sauce, they were Sweeeeeeeet!
