I've been to see the comedy store players a few times before - and once again they were superb.
I am now in a state of shock as to how a show, with the same format twice a week, with pretty much the same line-up every time, can feel so different each time I go - these guys are clever!
Would recommend to anyone, whether a venue for a date, to a reasonably rowdy night with the boys - one size fits all!

Best night out in a long time! Very funny and clever comedians, how they can make a gag up so on the spot is amazing! Would recomend to anyone A*****

What a laugh..I was a little gutted when they said in the intro that tonight wouldn't be about stand-up....as that had been the main idea...but the club didn't dissappoint. Just like 'Who's line is it anyway' the comedians did a great job at producing a really funny few sketches based on random injects from the audience.
Will definately go again!

Paul Merton, Josie Lawrence and Neil Malarky may be the best known of the CSP, but they are not the most talented. For an evening of improv comedy, where turns and twists occur so fast that no-one in the audience can see them coming these guys are great.
I think I went along expecting An Evening with Paul Merton, but he took his place as an ensemble player, and the whole evening flew past.
Great funny genuinely inventive and dazzlingly clever, but never so smart as to be smug

Very funny indeed - Improv show with resident players - some surreal but very funny scenarios ensued! We had a great time and would thoroughly recommend it.

Lee Simpson, Suki Webster, Paul Merton, and the rest. They were once again fantastic. I took my sister in law for the first time as a Christmas gift, and she loved it.

Not what I was expecting I was expecting stand up from each comedian but the group improvisation set up was great, very clever and quick and soo funny. I bought the tickets for my boyfriend for valentines day and seeing his face as he laughed and laughed all the way through was fantastic : )

Have been to the Comedy Store a few times. As always the players were on top form and put together a good show. Improv was spot on and would recommend it to anyone up for a night of laughter.

Right from the start the show was delivered at a fast pace and was extremely funny.

Josie Lawrence was very funny and the imprevisation that she showed at times was impressive.
Richard Vranch was superb with his one liners.
Andy Smart couldnt stop laughing all the way through and his delivery off a Northern Lass from the 1920's was awesome.

I throughly enjoyed the whole performance and have already booked my next tickets to go again.

This was the second occasion I'd booked tickets for this wonderful, twice weekly event, and both times I've been left speechless at the Players' mastery for the comic. For those who remember 'Whose Line is it Anyway', the format is pretty similar, even including the peerless Richard Vranch (though not only on piano).

Last night Paul Merton wandered past me and bought a drink at the bar where I was standing, whilst Josie Lawrence warbled, quite beautifully from stage, right, more than ably accompanied by Neil Mullarkey in a very much non-singing, but highly comic capacity.

Brilliant fun for most of the family (bring your brain, your laughing gear, but not the kids!)

amazing. nice atmosphere soon as you get in there. cheap drinks. seating is well organised. the show.... is nothing other than amazing. they interact with the auidience non stop. every moment was a laugh. awesome fun. cant fault it.

This is now the 5th time i have been to see the comedy store players. Everytime they have delivered a quality show.

Would recommend that anyone wanting a night out laughing their heads off should see the comedy store players.

I have seen them twice now and despite the familiar game format each show was uniquely different, side splittingly funny and an excellent mix of comedic styles from all the players with everyone contributing equally to the fun in their own inimitable way. They gel like a great band; the atmosphere at the store is totally relaxed, and their audiences love them. Both times I haven't believed how quick this fast paced improvisation experience is and both times left wanting more - so we will be back. Ticket prices are amazingly reasonable so I can only imagine that these guys do it because they just love what they do and it shows.

I have been a regular follower of the Comedy store players and last night was one of the best evenings for a long while. The exchange between the member's of the group was great fun and just so obviously uinrehearsed :-) x It has been a little while since I have laughed so much.

was promising to visit for a long time , finally made it, was unsure about the players night as wanted to see the stand up night , i was really impresssed,these guys where great and the impro a fantastic peice of entertainement, i can strongly recommend it , the guys made the whole crowd feel a part of their show and where genuinely enjoying the night themselves along with us, i came away from the comedy store eagerly wanting to re book and bring some more pals in which i will do on the next visit,
thanks a lot for a top night out you are very talented people and i will be back very soon

These guys are unbelievably quick. Given a random emotion, job title, imaginary object, country, etc, they come up with a scene and a song on the spot and have the crowd in stitches.
