Favourite moment: Hearing my favourite track 'throwing bones' live for the first time and also when the singer passed his bottle of whiskey into the crowd for a swig! @
Setlist: Old favorites and a few new numbers, all good. @
Opening act(s): Woodenbox and a fistful of fivers....also really amazingly good. @

I saw the Phantom Band last night. I have had the CD of their only album for 6 months or so, and jumped at the chance to go along to see them.
As usual the 'live' experience was waaaaaaaaaaaay better than you could get from a CD. Band were awesome, the crowd well aware that this was a great gig. I could't get enough of the Moog synth players efforts, really brought the whole experience together. My friend had never even heard a single track and came along and was simply blown away, he thought they were excellent. From the opening instrumental to the huge 'throwing bones' finale, every chord struck was an audio pleasure.
