yeah, made me realise that i've grown up.
poor effort by the band to be honest.
the crowd were also a real let down - tame, middle aged mash pit.

The last time I saw ATR was catching the tail end of their noise set before NIN. This time they played what the crowd wanted, and they got the response they deserved. I have seen Alec Empire perform a few times now, with Nic Endo, and this gig still seemed to be about the Empire than the Collective, perhaps Hanan would have changed the dynamic. But it was good to see Nic out there, not seen here as a vocalist before, very powerful. The new kid was a good addition as well.
But they played so many good songs, kicking off with the new one Activate, and punishing us with either gabba drums, noise distortion and screaming lyrics for an hour and a half.

Alecs sppech at the end was really cool as well, it sounded like he wanted to make up for the past, and the crowd loved him for it. Came away very happy indeed!
