I went to the bob Marley experience
to find most the things on display was from other reggae artists

Wanted to take my two teenagers out for the day (17 & 13) and thought would give this a go, was not disappointed, in fact I was very pleasantly surprised. We had a right laugh together in the music room , I loved the era rooms and was surprised to find myself scrolling through every info point and getting very excited at times!!! We spent a few hours in there and only left as we were hungry. Its great value for money, and its hard to find somewhere to take older kids without someone getting bored.

I LOVED the experience, especially the entrance hall and dancing studio but the karaoke did not record our voices :((( I sent an e-mail and no clear explanation. That was my contribution to British rock!!! and I wanted to keep it :)

i was in london on the 15-16 november after seeing blood brothers on the 15th my dad said to me would you like to visit the 02 arena on the 16th as we had to be at kings cross by 7pm for our train back to newcastle i said yes when we got into the 02 arena i could belive how huge it was while we walked around the 02 arena my dad said do you want to go to the British Music Experience i said why not got we got the tickets for £8 which i thought was a really good price went into the thing i thought it was the amazing thing i had ever been to in my life when we left the British Music Experience at the 02 i said to my dad can you take me to see a concert at the 02 arena and my dad said he would at some point and when got back to newcastle i said to myself the 02 arena was the most amazing arena in the world and i hope to go back there 1 day to see a concert in the main arena

I found the interactive oportunities quite brilliant. To be able to play guitar along with well known stars was quite an experience. The information was well written and easy to follow and understand.

Upon arrival I was disappointed at the lack of signage, the staff seemed bored and were less than welcoming. The main attraction the "download wall" was irritating to use constantly moving, disproportionally long delay with the control ball and not every download worked. One of the interactive experiences could only be accessed through an exit, when I was asked by a member of staff "you ok with Straub lighting?". Well you had better be, enough Straub effect to have anyone reaching for the sick bucket. Seriously OTT.

Excellent interactive exhibition of the history of British music.
Plenty to do, you can play Gibson guitar, drums, keyboards and vocals, which are recorded and then using your unique code on your ticket listen to your recordings on the internet when you get home!
You can even record youself doing dances through the decades in the dance studio!
We spent 3 hours in the exhibition and could easily have stayed longer!

Great idea for an exhibition but staff too busy playing with exhibits instead of tuning the instruments which were badly out of tune!!! Biggest problem was that our tickets didn't work when we got home and there seems to be no way of asking for help / complaining that I have found.

What a brilliant exhibition! What a brilliant way how to use a ticket!!!!! I love these Smart Tickets!!!! What an idea!!! I enjoyed putting stuff on the ticket and checking it out at home later on.
I took my partner and brother. The both of them had a great time! We laughed so much while dancing the decades!!!!!!! Absolutely incredible!!!!! Watched it all over again and again and again!!!! :-))))

It takes around 2 hours to see all of The British Music Experience, longer if you keep re-visiting the interactive areas. Covering all aspects of British music from skiffle to Oasis and beyond, it is a great day out for the music lover or those that enjoy a trip down memory lane!

The remaining members of the Faces back together after an eternity meant anticipation of the highest order. Not dismayed by some peoples views of Mick Hucknall on vocals nor Glen Matlock on bass I joined the other 399 people lucky enough to get tickets in a small room tucked away at the O2 inside the British Music Experience.
Harvey Goldsmith welcomed us all and thanked Amex for their support and got on and introduced the band.
Well a hot and steamy night in London got hotter and steamier!
Ronnie, Ian and Kenney may be the only originals, but with Mick and Glen, together with additional guitarist and sax player, they could have been playing together for years by the way they interacted and gelled to give a blistering performance.
Mick's vocals were perfection and you could almost forget that Rod Stewart was the original vocalist way back in 19frozen and something.
The classics were there together with some lesser known tracks, but the show climaxed with Pool Hall Richard and then Stay With Me.
A fantasic night, one I'll never forget. Harvey Goldsmith closed the night thanking everyone and teased us with a 'see you next year'. If they do tour - you'd better get a ticket and treat yourself to some great music.

Truely excellent show. Great to see Ronnie, Kenny & Ian so up close and personal and Mick did a fab job as a Rod standin. In fact far better than merely a standin. In no way lived up to the now shown to be unfair mock title of Red Faces & Cod Stewart. they were great at the Albert Hall and terrific at the Bubble

Despite some worries Hucknall was impressive and Ooh La La, I Wish It Would Rain and I’d Rather Go Blind were particularly good - Pool Hall Richard and Stay With Me just excellent. It was a great crowd and a fabulous intimate venue. McLaglan, Jones & Wood were just as they always were. Shame they didn't want to just have a go at Debris or Glad and Sorry, by way of remembrance, but a great night any event.
The only dampener on the whole evening was the bar £6 a pint for an obscure, warm lager served by surly and inefficient shop staff from the British Music Experience who doubled up as bar staff. It even shut at 1030 leaving a line of thirsty and disgruntled punter!.

What can I say?
Amazing intimate venue, 400 capacity great sound with up close and personal access, to a band that has legendary status for good reason..........
Wood, Mac and Jones worth entrance fee alone with Hucknall absolutely nailing the vocal with a voice Rod could only dream of having these days (now I know why Rod sings lounge bar)
Who would bother sitting at the 02 with 23,000 other people buy the DVD, dont miss the upcoming live shows @BME well worth it!

Not being a Faces fan and having minimal knowledge of their catalogue, I didn't know what to expect. The venue was also a slight surprise, having a capacity of 400 people. So it was quite an intimate setting, reminding me of seeing bands at the Student Union. No seating.
Before the gig, the compere thanked AMEX for "supporting" the event. I got tickets through AMEX's preferred seats programme, costing about £90 for two tickets....pretty good.
The gig was filmed so it will be interesting to see the finished DVD.
Ronnie Wood was excellent and appeared to be the leader. The sound was fairly raw, as per the original, and I suspect there hadn't been too much rehearsal, but this added to the enjoyment. Ian MacLagan was excellent on keyboards whilst drums and bass were also good.
A couple of tracks hit the spot, one blues and the finale: Stay With Me, which was absolutely brilliant

Mick Hucknall did a good job on vocals but he was often drowned out by the musicians even though he was giving it 110%, so the mixing wasn't ideal.
All in all a good evening. I liked the small format and it appeared the band did, as well.

We loved the music, but as we had a seat no on our tickets we were expecting to be seated. My husband is unable to stand for long and if we had been told there was no available seating we would not have booked. Luckily an Assistant noticed my husband sitting outside in the exhibition he found a seat and we were able to watch from the back. Please do not print tickets with seat numbers it is very confusing. There were a few others who were expecting seats. It was also extremely hot

What a great comeback and what a great replacement for Rod Stewart....
Mick Hucknall was incredible last night, he can belt it out like Rod used to (He can't these days!). I thought the setlist was - for a short gig - spot on, including a personal favourite 'I wish it would rain'. Anyway, I thought it was FANTASTIC!

Fantastic gig. Mick was a great lead singer. It was definitely one of the best gigs i've seen in a long time and those going to Goodwood won't be disappointed
