Would just like to say that Treacherous Orchestra were amazing, just awesome, so talented and had the tunes in my head all of the next day.
We were pretty disappointed with the way the venue was laid out with tables and chairs though, so there was no proper dance floor - we would have liked to have been on our feet and dancing from the first to the last song but with everybody else sitting it felt awkward as to dance in front of the stage meant you were directly in the way of folk sitting at tables. Fine to have tables laid out but should have left a space for proper dancing in the middle/front, as it took a fair bit of encouragement from the band to get folk forwards and by that time half the set was over.
Really hope to see this band again in a better laid out venue with a more enthusiastic audience! They are so good and work so hard on stage that it's just not right to sit down!

Treacherous Orchestra is a must for lovers of juiced up Celtic Fusion music. They were under pressure at the gig due to a very low turnout (there was a local derby football match that clashed) but despite a sparse audience they got a lot of folk up dancing. All in all they played an amazing set and kept up their enthusiasm. The night would have been better with a bigger turnout but that was hardly the band's fault and it was great just as it was

What a brilliant night - every single member of the band looked as though they were enjoying themselves. Put the bodhran player nearer the front please! Banjo man had a huge big permanent grin on his face. I am now looking forward to Speyfest - TO will go down well there. First time for me at Ironworks - great venue.
