A reet good night out. Havent had so much fun in ages. Sing a long, join in along, take the mick out of the Lancy accent, we laughed and smiled all night. The lyrics are fun and the front man is sooooo entertaining. Ta ra!

The Hotpots gig was tremendous. The re-entrants opened with a number of songs on the ukulele which worked really well - Ace of Spades, Thriller etc.

The Hotpots themselves were their usual blend of enthusiasm, good Northern charm and crowd pleasing.
All the major hits were played to a real mixed crowd, young and old and many a flatcap wearer!

The L Hotpots were worth going to see however i do think that once you have seen them you only need to buy their CD's. The acoustiqes at KG hall rather drowned out a lot of the songs. Therefore listening to a CD is much clearer.

this is the third time i have seen the hotpots,and i have to say it was the worst .
the sound system was way out of whack,the bass was to over powering making it difficult to hear the words.

Despite an unfortunate mis-hap with a forklift, the lads put on a stirling show for all ages.Even the wife who I dragged along came away saying it was the most fun she`d had at a gig in ages.

The support act were a bit rubbish but spotted new boy 'Billy McCartney' playing with them and realised they were just a bit of a laugh. When the Hotpots finally reached the stage the show was awesome as usual. In fact the best show I've seen from them - the banter between the band was very funny and poor ol' Bernard with his poorly fingers - the mixture of pain-killers and Carlsberg produced a wonderful performance!

The show started 15 minutes late. A "warm-up" act of 3 young men singing stupid songs was absolute rubbish, as all my neighbours agreed. We never found out their names.

After they left the stage, nothing happened for over half an hour. No-one came out to explain what was happening (or not happening!) Some people walked out in disgust.
Eventually, the Lancashire Hotpots arrived on stage. Someone shouted, "Where have you been?" and the leader of the group said that he works in Coventry and had broken his fingers by having something dropped on them. No proper explaination of why they were so late, and definitely no apology.

The show itself was very good, but they were only on stage for just over an hour, and we all felt short-changed. The "broken fingers" of his left hand didn't stop him playing his guitar.

On the whole, a frustrating and poor value for money performance. Bad marks to the management for letting the audience down.

hotpots very good - support act lions and whatever they were were blooming terrible! If I was a band I would send on a terrible first act so that I would sound great which is probably the angle they were trying to achieve.

Spotted the Lions keyboard player is now in the hotpots - much improved in that - don't think his heart was in the support performance lol.

saw the hotpots last year they where funny then,now with 12 months of practice they where,quote"absolutly blumin marvelous".
worth every pound and can't wait for the next time,and the young ladies really inproved the sex appeal,sorry lads but sexually you do nothing for me.
