Once again, the simply brilliant Simon Amstell presents a hilarious offering, showcasing his inimitable neuroticism and genuinely enlightening spiritual philosophies as previously affiliated with the equally funny 'Do Nothing'.
Constantly engaging the audience with his deepest insecurities and fears, it's hard to say, having seen this show, that the man's not born for the stage. He seems to have an innate ability to illuminate the audience both comedically and philosophically. There's a certain degree of emotional power to the show too; at various moments, he illustrates his deep personal fears in the most sublime manors that you simply feel compelled to feel an intense concern for him. Which, if the show is anything to go on, he greatly requires and deserves.
Despite the UK run now being over, I extremely recommend seeing it in New York. It's that worth it.
