Setlist: William it was really nothing, jeane, these things take time, how soon is now, cemetry gates, there is a light that never goes out, the queen is dead, stretch out and wait, sheila take a bow, girlfriend in a coma, handsome devil, bigmouth strikes again, suffer little children, shakespeares sister, please please please, ask, panic, headmaster ritual, stop me if you think that you've heard this one before, still ill, i know its over, this charming man. @

I've seen The Smiths Indeed before in Manchester and thoroughly enjoyed their show - when I saw that they were playing in Manchester again I snapped up a ticket. I'm not old enough to have ever seen the original band but as a massive Smiths fan I think The Smiths Indeed are a great way of hearing Smiths songs played live. Theres a great mix of tracks with crowd favourites such as This Charming Man and There Is A Light interspersed with more obscure songs like Jeane and Stretch Out and Wait. The frontman has a great voice which is almost as good as Moz himself, and he dresses like Morrissey circa 1983 - we were even treated to a few costume changes!! With plenty of chrysanthemums and gladioli flying about the gig had a great atmosphere, with the Ritz as a fitting venue for the 30th anniversary of the Smith's very first gig on the same stage. Would go see them again!
