I did not know what to expect, knowing that the animals in the production were going to be puppets. At the end of the evening I left in complete awe. I was captivated from the beginning. After a few minutes of watching, the horses had become real to me, and the acting was superb. The storyline was easy to follow.

Well worth seeing for the "animals" themselves.
Not a great plot but a good tale and there were a few ladies with tears at the end.
i enjoyed it as did the wife and it was well done.
The "new" layout of the Theatre fitted the way it was done very well and this was most interesting.,
I would recommend it as i have been trying to get tickets for some time yet.

The puppeteers gets 5* and a standing ovation - incredible discipline and control. The music was also brilliant, as was the acting, use of props, lighting and directing.
The Officer was a bit wooden and dead pan, and I think it's a little overpriced too.

Have waited a while to see but my it was so worth the wait. The book is brilliant as is the film but the play was outstanding. Would happily go to see it again.

I bought tickets to War Horse for my parents, they said it was amazing and couldn't recommend it more and would love to see it again. Bottom line... Don't hesitate, it's a must see!

I've now seen War Horse twice, and it really is fabulous! Almost immediately one forgets that the horses are puppets and the wonderful story and excellent acting brings the whole thing alive. The story is very moving without being 'soppy' or over sentimental and the production is first class.

Absolutely amazing! Def worth every penny, we were right at the front so had a great view. The horses were so realistic but the goose stole the show. I would def see again, but would go with a girl friend as I couldn't have a good blubb with the boyf there.

As the first scene opens you wonder whether Warhorse will live up to all the rave reviews. By the end of the show you're left standing to applaud! Extremely well cast. The superb actors who bring the horses to life vanish from your eyes as the horses take on their personalities and the comic goose - such fun! We are reminded of various aspects of the first world war, particularly the expectation of an early victory and then the men/boys meeting the reality as they disembark. The role of the war horses weaves through the plot. Very emotive. Can't say more without giving away some of the plot. Definitely go and see it - and go back to see it again! Would i recommend it to a friend? I already have, several times.

We enjoyed the evening at the theatre, the puppetry was fantastic, you became immersed in the movements and nuances of the horses. My partner had seen the film and was just a little disappointed with the portrayal of some of the main characters but overall we both felt it was an evening well spent indeed.
