Location:Angus

First visit to this regular annual show. It is "what it says on the tin" - mostly (all too) familiar Christmas songs and carols - but played and sung so well that they are made new again. This was enjoyable, inspiring, and fun too. We'll be back!

Just the thing to set you up for Christmas and take you away from the madness and mayhem. We were a bit disappointed that Ally wasn't there to keep Phil in his place.
It wasn't a slick well managed show but that added to it's charm and we are all used to Phil's 'tuning'
Karen and Eddie were in superb voice as usual and altogether made this yet another thoroughly enjoyable concert.

What a night, the sound of the brass band brought a tear to my eye and the voices of Eddi Reader and Karen Mathieson warm and wondrous. Topped off with the accompanying talented musicians, and the chance to sing a long made for a wonderful warm up to Christmas.

Phil Cunningham and friends were in excellent form with Eddie Reader stealing the show with "In the Mid Bleak Winter" accompanied by Phil on piano and the Armed Forces Brass Band. A real treat which got everyone in the Christmas Spirit. John McCusker was excellent on the fiddle, and could have been given a little more air time for his wonderful playing. Despite the severe cold outside, everyone must have left with a warm heart.

Although the weather was bad and Winter was at its worst the Concert was wonderful, Great artists such as John McCusker one of the best fiddlers in Scotland, Eddie Reader and Karen Matheson two of the finest Scottish singers all contributed to a great concert.

Well worth going to hope the weather is not so wintery next time!
