first time of going to live snooker and thoroughly enjoyed it, the atmosphere was great, seats were ideal as you could see all what was happening in fact, it was better than watching on tele.
only downside to the day was because the evening session didnt finish till late there were very few buses and taxis around.

Great Match Great venue facilities where good only bad point why is it so expensive for food soilt it for me glad was only there for a few hours if it had been a all day i would be bring my own food

Had tickets for the day for this years Masters final. As last year, the sessions started at 2.00pm and 8.00pm. The snooker itself was very good and the layout of the arena gives a very intense atmosphere and we're already looks g forward to next year. But some negatives, the main entrance hall and food marquee are freezing! Some better heating needed as it was so cold. The seats are tight so you feel squeezed in. Lastly it always seems a big wait till the evening session starts. This is probably in part to TV schedules but for those of us who travelled a long way,it's a lot of hanging around and then a very late night by the time you get home. A 7.00pm or 7.30pm start would be much better.

The final was really good, the seats had a great view of the table, they were pretty comfortable, well as comfortable as they could be for 4 hours solid.
Overall a very enjoyable day.

Really Good Viewing even though 2nd row from the back, reasonable value for money.
Watch the walk up the big long hill to get their from the tube station.
Catch the bus which drops outside
Could do with a few more toilets

We attended the Alexandra Palace for the world snooker 2012 which is the first time the snooker has been held there ! What a perfect place fantastic set up in every way just could not fault it at all. All the top 16 players where the "TOPS" so friendly mixing with the crowds. Although Ronnie being Ronnie had my little boy in tears' he is his hero and this is his first time to watch snooker ! he would not sign his programme book !! but all the others made a fuss of him Shaun Murphy, Ken, Trump,Martin Gould,Robertson all signing well done guys.I must commend Barry Hearn for such a professional organised event. Our Son Flynn will never forget this and hopefully one day he will be a professional snooker player himself ( he is really trying at the young age of 11 ) watch this space !! One last thing thank you to all the amazing friendly staff promotors at the venue FIRST CLASS. Last but not least John Wood, you kindness shown throughout the whole time, a big thank you, young man.

the snooker at alli palli was a much better venue then wembley arena it was much more enjoyable to watch and to be in such an enclosed arena. the only down side to alli palli is that there were only two bars i didnt think this was enough i think it needed a couple more.

What an amazing day - my first time seeing snooker live after being a lifelong fan. The event was fantastic, great seats and great view, can't believe how close to the action you get! The MC was also brilliant, really got the crowd going beforehand. Also nice to see Steve Davis and Stephen Hendry during the breaks playing some exhibition shots. And as for the match itself, well it was one of the best I've seen in a long time. Closely fought but Neil Robertson ran out a worthy winner. I will definitely be back again to watch another year. 147 stars!

Brilliant event .. good seats ,good atmosphere, Ally Pally amazing venue but catering was a rip off and limited choice Not enough seating in food /drink areas. there should have been entertainment or things to do during 2 1/2 hour break. Tournament very good Well done Neil !!

Alexandra Palace proved to be an excellent venue for the Masters Snooker. Myself and my son spent two days there, Semi-Finals and Finals,enjoying the 'Snooker Challenge' and the merchandise shop during the breaks. Both of which were staffed with very friendly characters. The Bar and Food areas were just about adequate, lacking in comfort. The food on the bar was permanently un-covered...no spit guards!
